  1. I never found Josh to be arrogant or rude with me. He may be abit more expensive on some things but has

consistent reliable service and backs up his stuff 100%. Some of the WIS around here are over the top anyway. For ex.

I'm in my 50's, I can't even see Happy feet in the first place. I don't really care too much about the back of a rep. Are any

'civilians' aware of the correct engravings on a PAM movement?? Who would ever ask someone to remove a watch so they can inspect the caseback?

    Just my 2 cents.

  2. Bk's YM is abit more than 40mm, as noted- there is a midsize gen too @ 36mm.

One thing I noticed is that gen Rollies tend to wear bigger than most reps.

Rolex has changed the case and lugs over the past several years( more square like) also making for a bigger looking watch.

They still list the Subs and GMT @ 40mm. yet they are really about 41mm. or so.

  3. Can't go wrong with the white Chanel J12 Quartz- 33mm or 38mm. Replicamake has them for $78.

I bought 3 as gifts- the women love them and they're hassle free. I also like a plain Rolex DJ 36mm.

Salmon or white dials are great for ladies.

I just got this lovely gift. Citizen is not my first choice for watches, but this is very nice.

Great to have at least one super accurate radio controlled quartz watch. Also its quite solid- the band reminds me of the

    Omega SMP.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Years.

BTW- where can you get those gray/orange Tudors? I love them.

  5. NYC "watchmakers" are more often than not, butchers, who have ZERO appreciation for your watch - especially vintage. Trust me, I know from experience. I wish I could give you a name of a competent, McGuyver-esque NYC watchman, but I can't. And I've been collecting in NYC for 15 years. Let me know when you find him! (or her!).

There's a Russian guy, Mike, in a shoe repair store on 2nd. Ave between 71-72 Streets. He has worked on alot of my watches with mostly good results.

He does reps including chronos which is hard to find. About $200 to service/fix a rep chrono. Tell him Noel sent you. Good luck, at least he

won't screw up your watch crystal/dial. He did once break a Rollie crystal but replaced it.
