PAM for me too- DSN 089

I think there is a real one that big. I have the 42mm version from Josh, very nicely made watch
keeps great time with the 'swiss' ETA.
-
I guess the ladies think if you have a big protruding watch like the Omega PP, you must be hung like
a moose.

In honor of 'Cyber Monday' I went gen today. I brought it to the AD, thinking I may trade for new
Ceramic green sub or something. Tourneau offered like 30% of value- they usually were better in past for trade-ins.
No thank you, looks like I'll be keeping my DJ for abit longer!

Sure- why not get both! The orange bezel gives it a different look or you can put one on rubber.
They're a good deal @ about $100 each.
Here's my rep UPO (black) ang gen 42mm (orange)

My old TWBest YM and Daytona- still looking good after 3-4 years
My gen GMT

To be honest- selling a 3 year old un modded or serviced rep @ 85% is too much- IMO.
I have an older Roadster, with Swiss ETA and its very nice, but I serviced it once already. There are a new batch
of the larger ones out you may want to take a look.

Sorry to crash the mostly Rolex party.
Mini Fiddy for me- I was thinking of the new PAM 312- really doesn't seem that different.
Anyone tried one?

I love that song, he's a great player.
Here's mine (rep), I would guess his is gen

Just got this Lange & Sohne- very pretty watch. I changed the rep strap to a simple
brown leather

Let's be fair and 'give the devil his due'.One of the reasons he has a big following on RG and RWG1
is that he sells alot of cheapies. For example; the $99 PAM specials which seem to be a good deal.
I have bought a couple of things myself, $90 SOSF, not too bad for the money but nothing like the old school
Cartel Steelfish for $300. I bought a IWC Big Pilot for $100- looked OK but lasted a month before the movement melted.
Pm'd him- no response. If you do happen to get a reply its often a snotty condescending remark. In other words:(Less then) ZERO AFTER SALE SERVICE. That's the reason there is such a long list here of people fed up with him.

He's British, from Wales actually, so his English isn't half baked...for the record it was TTK who sourced them, followed by Narikaa (nymph's) and it was Pug who coined the phrase 'noobmariner'...not BK...
@MP...life's too short mate...let it go...I used to be the same about Josh/Andrew but have managed to move on.
@By-Tor...I think there were crossed lines in the RG thread. A wonky cyclops is a QC issue true but one that can be rectified by the dealer's service policy. You wrinkled PWC's feathers by telling everyone in your review thread to buy Reg's product. This in turn prompted him in correcting you that the crystal and lume had been upgraded and it wasn't the same old F520117 noobmariner. He called you a Turkey and the slanging match ensued, that's how I read it anyway.
At the OP, if you know the exact watch you want, follow his payment instructions which are quite simple and don't bombard him with questions you'll get a great watch at a cheap price delivered fast...that's my experience when I've bought from him anyway.
I have no agenda, am a member on all the boards and have used most of the dealers in repland past and present. I just found this thread very one sided and decided to speak up, no offence to anyone intended...peace...
Not to keep beating a dead horse. The fact that he's British is a good reason he writes and spells English so poorly?!
I'm not an expert but I believe BK was the first to refer to the factory as NoobFactory. At any rate, he is certainly highly regarded as a Rolex dealer and gentleman on all the fora. Everyone knows he doesn't have that ridiculous arrogant attitude that Robert has. He's a cruel sadistic
[censored] that gets a thrill from insulting people- especially newbies.
-
He loves to argue with his half baked English.
We recently had an extended thread at RWG1 about NoobMariners and the so called NoobFactory.
He even torched BK as a know nothing about the subject, despite the fact that he help to coin the term.
One of the most condescending blokes around, impossible to discuss anything with him- as he knows everything!

Chris also over hypped the site, going on and on about how great the QC was. In fact, it was really never anything special.
He swore for ex; that he only had gen ETA's when in fact I'm pretty sure they were clones at times. He had a rapid rise and then all the complaints at the end finally did him in. Seems to have left some people holding the bag.

New Rg HB BB super nice watch

wow- and I thought I was the only one who didn't get along with him. He is incredibly arrogant and nasty;
sells alot of cheaper stuff. He seems to be adored at RG and RWG1. In addition he is a post [censored], with about 8,000 posts,
. I've never seen a dealer so agressively steer people to his site. He actually had the balls to ban me from buying from him.
Like he's the only rep dealer out there.

Looks nice with the Montauk Highway, can't see myself wearing a white band though.

The ETA movement offered in a PO rep, is it?
in The Omega Area

Hi; the Asian movement you would get is not a 21J. It would be a 'clone' of the 25J ETA, different
animal. Another story is -will you get a gen ETA from the dealers? Sometimes yes, but often no. Personally,
I prefer the gen movements when possible. Many people have given up the guessing game and stick to the clones.
If you want a real movement try to get one with a SW-200, they have not been cloned yet as far as I know.
Your right, ETA has been cutting the supply of movements to non Swatch companies.
