  1. Simply a stunning combo, good work. Is the 24 a gen or rep, if rep, you did an awesome job putting that together.
  2. Most modders provide their service/labor, but do not actually stock parts for modding as these aftermarket parts are usually limited production and there are too many possible combinations of parts that may or may not work together. Best thing to do is to source the parts and send them to modder of choice. Or just sell this one and look for an ultimate version 088.
  3. The 63 uses a 6mm (smaller) cyclops so that one is the correct size per gen. Modern PAM's use a 7mm one. It looks like all the prerequisite mods have already been done to this one sans the 2893. The date font appears to be a thicker aftermarket one already. I would leave this one alone and just enjoy it.
  4. Hi all, new to RWG, but a longtime lurker and an old fart on RG. Just thought I'd post this here since I got this practically brand new 089 from esteemed RWG member Eton- thanks Kris!!! I have had my share of DSN PAM's but none were without flaws- poor lume application, thin crown, thin CG's, etc... Well today, I received THIS and all of that has changed. It looks like David has made some improvements. This is about as accurate to the gen as you can get out-of-box for the 089. Perfect superlume job, nice "thicker" date font, beautiful AR & cyclops, nice squarish crown, perfectly spaced from the case- unlike any other DSN crown I've seen, thicker than usual DSN CG w/ pretty flat pin and crisp snap, and crisp engraved caseback, titanium lug screws, perfect "jumping" GMT hand!!! I had a nice rustic tan strap w/ titanium pre-v buckle in waiting for this one! I'm just gonna enjoy this one as a beater without doing a thing to it
  5. Oncyte has one for sale over on RG. Just use a buckle for now, they come up for sale periodically. www.panatime.com also sells unbranded ones that are identical.
  6. This indeed is a pretty stunning super-rep, I have one as well. I removed the caseback cover to confirm that it is in fact a decorated 2824-2, w/ the cotes-de-geneve, Cartier signed rotor & numerical markings in the corner of the case as per gen. The only flaw I see on unreg's, as well as on my own is that the cabuchon is a hair off-mounted (lobsided- a hair sunken on one side while raised on the other- you can see this in the macro-sized picture of the profile shot. The gen is raised a miilmeter, while the rep almost sits flush. Other than that, the color and shape look spot on.
