  1. Its quite simple really....... waving a steak in front of a hungry person. DRVJA - patience grasshopper, once Richard has confirmed 15 (I think we're around 11 or 12) instructions will follow. As an FYI if you're on the fence, this post was made on a few other forums a short while ago. Don't procrastinate.
  2. Thats easy...... all of them.
  3. Bump! This is a great deal on this piece. I was quoted over $500 by another dealer a few weeks ago. Fence sitters need to make a move now.
  4. No problem earlier this morning here.
  5. both 44mm You can find pics of the gen by clicking here.
  6. In for a 063 if we can get this to 15.
  7. Just in case anyone reads this far before opening the link...... certain parts are not work safe! Glad I'm not at work!
  8. Any recommendations where to buy quality tools? I'd rather have a few basic tools with good quality instead of cheap quality.
  9. Prob a bit of a noob question for a lot of you but I've never so much as removed a pin from a strap much less open up the back of a watch. As I learn more and more, the lure of doing some of the more basic stuff to the reps myself seems to be the next step. God help my reps.... Two questions: 1) What are the essential tools needed for someone that will not be doing intensive movement work? 2) There seems to be a difference in quality for different tools I've seen around the net. Are the cheap tool kits just that...cheap? Is it the wise thing to buy quality tools?
  10. Hoppy, what these guys are trying to tell you is that the specs and dollar amounts you just gave us is obvious what you found from some of the how should I say this.....less than honest replica sites. (I'm being nice) They will use all the terms you spouted, Swiss grade 1, 18kgold, etc and what you will end up getting is nothing of the sort. In fact, you will most likely end up with a piece inferior to what you would get from most of the dealers here. A couple of good dealers names have been given to you. I would recommend you send them an e-mail and discuss your needs. You will save some $$ and end up getting a better quality watch.
  11. Thats what I thought.... I looked thru several Omega sites and couldn't find a 40mm PO. I think its important for people to be more specific about which PO they're talking about when making statements in reference to it. I see a lot of people say something along the lines of "I have a PO coming from so and so" or "the PO from so and so looks better than the PO from so and so" but never mention if they're talking about a 42.5 or a 45mm and I suppose now a 40mm. Several dealers have different versions of the different sizes and its important to understand which ones are being talked about if we're to compare apples to apples.
  12. That was one of the things I noticed.... is there a 40mm gen?
  13. Just received this today so I imagine it will see the wrist all weekend..... if my arm doesn't give out. Its one hefty sonofagun.
  14. Guess not.... Can someone enlighten me as to when should a dead horse not be beaten anymore?
  15. Hello kettle......
  16. Keep em coming...... no snoozing here!
  17. Anyone knowing who may still have the "old" version please shoot me a PM.
  18. This being my first attempt at taking any kind of pictures of a watch will be evident. I'm a total newb at this and over the past several weeks have ordered ummmmmm, a few..... yea, thats it, a few reps and of course the first one to arrive is one I ordered for the wife. One things for sure, I'm pretty sure shes going to be happy when she gets home from work today..... which might mean I'll be happy too. Bought this from Josh. Ordered it on the 19th...shipped on the 22nd... received today April 5. It is a SS FM Ladies Conquistador with a white dial and silver markers. I'm hoping the pictures I took will be halfway decent to show off the beauty of this watch. It is, IMO, simple and elegant. My wife is not a fan of bling bling and we found that a lot of the ladies reps have a bunch of the faux diamond thing going on. IMO they look fake.... ummmm, well, I guess they are fake but you know what I mean. The SS on this watch looked good. I wasn't crazy about the bracelet as it felt flimsy but for all I know could be what a ladies bracelet should be. I don't wear them very often. One thing I had mentioned to another board member is I can see this watch making its way to a nice light colored leather strap in the future. Its 24mm and the dial looks pretty darn good. I haven't put it under a magnifyer yet but I don't think many people will be doing that either. The movement is the Swiss ETA 2671-2. The second hand glides very smoothly. The screw down crown felt firm and setting the date and time was equally firm. I'm not sure if firm is the term I'm looking for.... what I'm trying to say is that setting the date/time did not feel loose or rough but very smooth. The engraving on the back case is IMO ok. Not great, not bad.... OK. The picture I took will make it look real bad and trust me... its not as bad as the picture would have you believe. When you put it in perspective, that this is a $250 dollar rep, its exactly what I would expect. IMO, a very nice watch that I'm sure will bring a smile to her face and hopefully sidetrack her long enough for me to stash all the other reps coming.
  19. Josh, Its obvious you listen to your customers. My wife is not going to like that you made it so easy to seperate me from my money. Very nice job. My recommendation, other than the speed issue, is that you set up a ladies section. That way we can included our better halves and soften them up a bit.
  20. A woman meets a man in a bar. They talk, they connect, and then end up leaving together. They get back to his place, and as he shows her around his apartment, she notices that his bedroom is completely packed with soft, sweet, cuddly teddy bears. There are three shelves in the bedroom, with hundreds and hundreds of cute, cuddly teddy bears, carefully placed in rows covering the entire wall! It was obvious that he had taken quite some time to lovingly arrange them and she was immediately touched by the amount of thought he had put into organizing the display. There were small bears all along the bottom shelf, medium-sized bears covering the length of the middle shelf, and huge, enormous bears running all the way along the top shelf. She found it strange for a guy to have such a large a collection of Teddy Bears, especially one that's so extensive, but doesn't mention this to him, and actually is quite impressed by his sensitive side, all the while thinking to herself, "Oh my God! Maybe, this guy could be the one! Maybe he could be the future father my children?" She turns to him. They kiss and then they rip each other's clothes off and make hot steamy love. After an intense, explosive night of raw passion with this sensitive guy, they are lying there together in the afterglow. The woman rolls over, gently strokes his chest and asks coyly, "Well, how was it?" The guy says: "Help yourself to any prize from the middle shelf."
  21. On Wednesday of this week, at two minutes and three seconds after 1 o'clock, the time and date will be: 01:02:03 04/05/06
  22. I think you are missing the point that most are trying to make. Rest assured that any supposed "free" watch received will be based upon a favorable review. This makes any review of this site suspect.... period! They are in effect bribbing people with free watches. Let me put it another way...... would someone that has had a bad experience please send in a negative review and lets see if its 1) published and 2) you get a free watch........ LOL! So many people are so easily bought! Sad really.
  23. Watch? What watch?
