Thanks! Is the Angelus that is found in their small clocks the same movement?

Hello everyone. This is my first time posting in this section. I am usually in the Rolex section. Can someone give me the background on the Angelus 240 movement or point me to place that has all of the information. Also, what should I look for when trying to find one?

I think it would be cool to get a case that has pushers that do not screw down and then get a 7205 band. DW is by far the best value for a case.

ChiMan12 you cannot find a dial or hands?

There have been some nice 6263 Daytona's here that use a converted manual-wind Valjoux 7750 (or even A7750) for the movement.

The subdial layout is different on the gen 6263 (Val. 72).

Do these conversions change the subdial layout to the correct configuration?

Or, do they remain as they were on the 7750, so that with the movement rotated in the case, the minutes are actually at 9 (while the subdial marker will have the calibration for seconds)?

The A7750 has the same sub dial layout as theV72 but the spacing is a little off. There is a gen valjoux wit the same layout. It is the 7753. It is not real easy to come by. How is the progress on yours coming?

Why is this without spring? Did the have an issue with the other one? I have been waiting for the 7205.

- band should be a folded link band and the endlinks are wrong

- hands are wrong

- crown looks wrong

- dot at 12 o clock

How hard is this to do? The hand is real small. Also is there a source for buying a better hand?

I take it the gen case is not asymmetrical?
