im done defending myself. all i have to say is if i see a gen rotor i am getting it. if not, no worries either way.

i also got the "special" wg prez with cz markers on president band from el. i only wore it twice so i cant speak of the durability of the wg. but when i asked el, he said it was ss "simulated" to look like wg. so i assume its higher nickel content ss. i love the watch, its damn close to gen except it runs a lil fast. im sure The Zigmeister will be able to take care of that fairly easily tho.

i like to get mine as accurate as i can just to see the look on the face of one who owns a gen! nothing beats that feeling!!!

lucky for me i have both the 2893 063 and the swiss 127

andrew is a great dealer as i have dealt with him before, and that is a very good price, but that is by no means a definitive 127. the one andrew has has a copy unitas movement with no swan neck regulator. the best 127 is no longer in production and has genuine swiss unitas with swan neck. good luck on your quest!

which one should i get first? eventually i want them both, but if u had to pick one which would it be? maybe get a gen PO (black bezel) and a rep avenger?

the 063 with 2893 is simply awesome. mine is keeping perfect time. i love it. u will not be disappointed!

i guess im still getting flamed for this... but as i stated in my previous post, i just like all my reps to be as accurate as can be. why does everyone want the swan neck? same reason. why do some people want the genuine oem movement for their fiddy? im not a con man and i would never try to pass off my reps as gen. i still don't know what the big deal is. like i said, if striving for the most accurate rep makes me a con man, then i guess i am a con man...

the mods im getting for my 063 are: super lume and movement service- The Zigmeister crown, date wheel, AR coat- rbj (TBA) cyclops- ssurfer/finepics collective genuine panerai honey tan or burgandy croc strap- paneristi forum genuine rotor- still looking for this...

why would i try to con anyone? i tell everyone straight up that my reps are reps. i just like to have a rep as close to gen as possible. if that makes me a con man, then i am a con man. im sure any PAM expert would be able to tell that it is a rep even with a real rotor. now please remove the sticks from out your asses. TIA.

does anyone know where to get a genuine rotor for 063/029? these should fit the 2893-2, right? how much should one expect to shell out for these? thanks!

would u happen to know where to get the cheapest genuine oem alligator 24/22 strap? bigwatch has them but if anyone knows a cheaper place please let me know. ill take used also. thanks!

i have one. picked it up from PG II. i love it sooo much, tho it looks too big on my wrist. i *MIGHT* think of letting it go since it hardly gets any wrist time. the only thing its missing is the AR coat.

i got it from a super reputable dealer. i should ask exactly what was done. it is a polex presidential which supposedly takes a week to build. i wonder how it hols up compared to conventional plating...

i got a watch that is SS "simulated to look like WG". how is the quality of this process? does the simulation "fade"? what about weight? any insight would be appreciated. thank u!
