Broaching/reducing the small tubes for the center seconds and subsidiary hands is no easy task as it requires a lot of precision to get them right. You don't want hands slipping or falling off the pinions.

I'd definitely suggest Zig or Vac as I know they've done this job many times before...

I must say the difference between the gen crystal and the rep (even with double AR) is quit big.

The metal feels also smoother then on the rep

Hi guy I just got new 3717 but it only have steel bracelet can some one point me in the right direction where to get leather strap with iwc rep buckle because I dont know any thing about iwc thankyou

Check out the straps section.

Valerian has a BOMB leather strap that would look awesome together with the 3717.

I recently acquired a genuine IWC 3717 case from one of the members, and for the first time i actually have the chance to go 100% gen! Adding a gen movement, dial/hands and strap/bracelet.

But then it is not a franken anymore ...so i came up with the idea of keeping ONE of the small rep chrono hands, just to have it 99,99%

No fun with 100% gen...right?

I got mine today and i must say it looks really good (despite the lack of "Swiss Made")

The numerals are like the SA stencil dial and matches the color of the dial perfectly!

The repped Pro Diver 2 is also really well made! I compared to my gen strap and the only thing i could find was the engraving on the clasp (the rep font is a tad smaller then the OEM)
