Experts..chime in! To good to be true?
-
Looks suspicious to me.
Rehaut engraving too perfect, Rolex on movement. 001/. Only person capable of producing this quality would be WM9 and I think we would have heard about it.
Skeptical.
Does not the new 3135 has that same engraving??
-
Hey that is cool.
Can I be first for your next set of these dial and hands. In a heartbeat. Boom Boom....Boom Boom Boom.....Boom Boom Boom Boom.
See, my heart races!!
I really don

WOW!!
Does anybody of our dealers have this???
-
Very cool. How different is the rep vs. gen blue??
Much more crispy in the color. With a double AR;ed glass this will be a real knockout
No doubt. It will be a great project.
Any plan for St. Exupery Series?
If i can get [censored]..yes

awful as in everything or just the dial?
Everything...
-
Just got a brand new dial/hands for the rare IWC 3717-12 Laureus Sport Limited Edition.
The rep of these are awful so it will be a fun project to do.

My wife wears a gen Explorer 1
Looks really good on her quit small wrist.
-
What kind of movement is it?
-
I should be seeing mine this week, at which point I'll know whether I can use it for a custom project or not
You think the rep hands will fit the genuine 30110 movement?
-
So you want a picture of the back of a gen dial?
I've got a rep dial I can take a picture of but there's nothing worth looking at. It's completely blank other than the 2 feet.
Please shoot a pic if you don
-
Experts opinion??? Gen as it is supposed to be??
-
No, but if you are looking for leg locations, they should be the same as any other dial made to fit an ETA. If you have another ETA-powered rep, just check that dial. The legs should be in the same locations.
Nahh..just want to be sure it

I have one.
PM sent

Anyone have a spare GMTIIC dial and can take a photo of the back???
Would REALLY appreciate it!!!
-
What a nice Aquatimer!!!
Just like yours ;-)
-
I have one with gen 79320 soon up for sale ;-)
-
Concepta,
do you like I'll ask for my dealer too?
Way do not get oner 2836-2 CHS?
The 2893 is not CHS.
Yes please!!!
Because the 2893 is the only movement that will except the gen dial (says Domi)
Thanks!
-
Nice! Really nice!
-
I have just started a GMTIIC project with a gen dial, 2893 movement and hopefully a gen insert.
I need a gen crystal as well! If you ever should stumble upon one more
-
Every now and then a gen dial pops up on TZ or on the Bay. Never seen a gen dial, unfortunately...
You mean crystal?
-
Yes mate, but even with a gen dial it's still a rep ... . If you want it to be perfect, look for a gen crystal instead.
I know..but the modding is the fun of this hobby.
Any idea where to get a gen crystal??
-
Buddy, I'd keep the rep dial. It's one of the few rep dial that can't be distinguished from the gen (I know what I mean, believe me). I don't know if anybody ever had the chance to compare a GMTIIc rep with a gen (I did it): they are virtually undistinguishable, the only tell are the well known slight differences like the colour of the numbers in the bezel and the AR on cyclops.
...but it is still a rep ;-)

You experts you ;-)
That´s a shame..cause the real X-projects are real killers!!
