Thanks again all. the Window God, I tried pm'ing you but I'm not sure if it went through. Are either you or ubiquitous in Canada?
-
It's not that common at all. However, check out Francisco's thread below on gluing the assembly together:
Thanks Toad. I'll take a look at that Mod when I get the time
-
So I've pressed it back on. Hopefully it stays put. Is this a common occurrence for these things?
-
Hmmm. So I did just send an email to my dealer. I'd rather not have to send it back to China...

So I just received my first keeper rep, a DSSD v3 with the ETA copy movement. As I was removing a couple links to size the bracelet I heard a funny noise inside the watch. So I got the duct tape out and voila! The rotor is sitting in here loose. So my question is, is this something I can fix? If so, how do I it?
Thanks all!
Solid watch by the way, can't wait to get wearing this puppy.

Isn't Mike Hunt related to Mike Hawk?

Shipped out of China, May 7. Now I wait... Wait for news on the tracking site, wait for customs to do their thing, wait for that special package from China to be brought to my doorstep. Arrghh, I HATE WAITING!!!
I know you all have been through this, just wanted to vent.

The beveled window is very deep, I'm not sure if this is the doubled dial or not, and so far this is the only dealer with these--I don;t know if this is technically a V5 or if this is the one the others are waiting till next month for. There are too many #@%$ing releases of this to keep up anymore; this is the best one I've seen yet.
I've just ordered one from Hont and his pics he sent didn't look like a V4 but wasn't quite the same as this one either, will post pics once I get it.

Another fellow Canuck! Welcome, you will find a real abundance of information here and lots of helpful people.
-
Such a beautiful watch... I am in awe over this thing, and to think I'm not a rolex guy AT ALL! Nice rep Gio, thanks again for all the info on the many variations of this rep.
-
I just got my Eurotimez DSSD in day before yesterday. My review should be up this afternoon.
Best dial & version over-all I've seen yet:
Eagerly awaiting your review Gio. Mine still hasn't been sent so I'm hoping I end up with the newest version

Welcome! The advice here seems to be to order a lower priced rep to try out the process. Its what I did (mind you, I gave that one away) but it's not a bad way to start...
But as said, but the one you want most
-
Nice timepiece though, even with the flaws. I just ordered mine from Hont

This is an extremely helpful resource! My head was actually starting to spin as I was looking at this rep, until I bumped into this thread. Thanks Gio!

Personally, that is actually one of my favorite Graham's. Yes it's ugly, but it's an appealing ugly. It's the most military of all the Grahams and looks like it's ready to kick a$$! I say JUST DO IT!

I figured the caseback would be wrong. Does anyone know if there's any plan on a larger, more accurate model coming out?

I'm in love with this ceramic Ingy. But looking at a few pics it looks like the 12 marker is crooked. Here's a link: http://www.jpc8118.com/0000000000iwig10011...242-p-5717.html Has anyone bought this yet to comment... I've checked a few of our dealers sites and none of them look correct. So is this a flaw with this model?
-
OK, I'm not even a Rolex guy and that heading totally worked on me. All of a sudden I'm hungry.

Welcome! Winterpeg, eh? I originally from Kenora, but have now moved out west. As Toad says, make sure to do lots of reading and enjoy the forum...
-
Ahh, and that is the unreliable movement, correct?
-
Take a look at these pics: http://www.hontwatch.com/index.asp?productID=8827, I wonder if this is the same version? It almost looks like you can see more than that plate behind the face...
-
OK, I'm glad I asked first. Thanks for the help.

The link should read http://www.rwg.cc/members/watchmark-f193.html
Sorry bout that...

I was thinking about ordering from Timeshops.net and noticed that much of the feedback is missing from RWG. Is this some kind of internet anomaly or is there a reason for it. For example check this link:watchmark
I've been lurking around here way too long and am about to take the plunge, thought watchmark may be the place to start, like the idea of getting photo's before shipment. Is he no longer a member? Should I be concerned ordering from him? Your help is appreciated!
My first automatic came with a surprise...

This is definitely the ETA copy, it's very smooth and I've seen the stamping on the movement: ETA 2836
