  1. I don't mean a genuine Rolex movement. I mean something like an Eta 2836 - a real one! Are you saying that I could not get this serviced? And would this movement fit a replica that uses a cloned 2836?
  2. I would like to know if I can put a genuine movement in any of the current Deep Sea Dwellers that are available today. I would like to wear the watch until the movement fails, and then put in a genuine so that it can be serviced anywhere. Will I be able to put in a genuine movement and are there any difficulties in doing so? Will the hands fit, etc? I will not be doing this myself. And which Dweller do you recommend? Thanks.
  3. How reliable is this movement? Does the GMT function affect it?
  4. I own this strap on a deployant and love it. The only problem is it is too big for my wrist. Are they available in smaller sizes? Thanks. http://perfect2clones.com/bla10102-leather-strap-black-wdeployant-for-4749mm-watches-p-2101.html
  5. Is this recommended for a Daylight? If not, can you recommend better? http://www.watcheden.com/search-products--14983--common--1--0--1.html
  6. I would like to have Chieftang's AR service done to my Daylight, but I need to know if it already has a coating. I don't think it does. I bought it about a month ago. Also, I need to remove the movement. Is this something a beginner can do? I don't want to ruin anything. Thanks.
  7. I just picked up a black Pam250 and would like to buy a tang buckle alligator strap. A while back I read that the quality varies a lot and that the dealers versions are not the best. Any recommendations on who to buy from? I would prefer a replica strap if possible. Thanks.
  8. Why on earth would I want to do this? Well, I buy watches for the look. I don't really care whether or not it has an automatic movement. In fact, I would prefer that it had a quartz for the obvious reasons people like quartz. Plus, I do not have to worry about servicing and failure of the movement if I don't service it. So, can this be done, and is there anything I need to be aware of?
  9. I want to buy this watch but am concerned about the sunken date wheel. How bad is it? I do not want to upgrade to a 7753.
  10. How much does it cost to convert, and what are the benefits? I noticed that the dealers have a Swiss 7753. Is this the same?
  11. I would like to know if there are any reviews on these watches. Does anyone know if the movements are reliable? Are the seconds at 9 on this watch? Thanks.
  12. I will re-post in the Panerai section. Thanks.
  13. I would like to know if this is a reliable watch. Are there any known problems with the movement, such as the seconds problems that some watches have. Also, there seems to be two versions of the watch, but I do not know what the difference is. P250SSB01 P196SW03 Thanks.
  14. I will be going on a cruise to several of the islands and wanted to know if there are any replicas available to purchase. Thanks.
  15. Can anyone answer the 'freezing" part of my question?
  16. Where can I purchase one (79350) and how much will it cost?
  17. I am interested in an IWC Portuguese with seconds at 6 (http://www.jpc8118.com/00iwpg10012-portuguese-chrono-rgle-black-a7750-improved-p-5488.html) and wanted to know: What is meant by "freezing" the hands? Is it like glueing it so that the hand cannot move, thus damaging the movement? And if so, does the watch keep good time? I am aware of the graphite fix, but I am trying to see if there are other alternatives. Can I replace the A7750 and put a real movement in? Will a real movement even fit in this watch, or are there any things I need to be aware of, such as the hands fitting? And lastly, has anyone seen this replica in this color? The picture on the web does not look like the gen to me. Thanks.
  18. I would like to buy multiple A7750s. This can get expensive, especially when they will all need servicing eventually. Let's say I have 4 watches. I like to wear my watch for long periods at a time, say 3 months. What if I pull the crown out on the watches I am not using, so they don't run? Then in 3 months I start one of the watches and wear that for 3 months, and so on. Wouldn't the watches last longer than they would if they were running during this time? Are there any disadvantages, can the watches be damaged?
  19. The reason I wanted to know is because I thought it would be easier to have my watch serviced if it had a genuine movement. I've read that most watchmakers do not want to work on a rep.
  20. Can anyone tell me whether or not the Swiss versions listed are the same movements in non-rep watches? I am looking at a Breitling Seawolf which says it has a 2824-2 movement. The reason I want to know is because I may at some point need parts and everyone says that an A7750, for example, would be difficult, if not impossible to get. I remember reading somewhere that there is no such thing a real Swiss movement in a replica. But that was a long time ago. Are these movements the same as an actual Breitling?
  21. Is there a Navitimer rep in any configuration that can have its movement replaced by a genuine, and be a perfect fit so that the hands all fit, and there is no sunken date wheel? I'd really like to this if it is possible.
  22. So am I correct in understanding, that for $300-400, I can put a REAL movement in my watch, that will fit except for the large second hand? If this is so, I would be interested because I cannot find anyone willing to service the A7750 and it would be worth it to me in the long run to have a movement that anyone would be willing to work on. If someone can verify this, I would appreciate it. And where do I purchase this movement?
  23. MIne is the 12, 9,6 and I believe it is a quickbeat (28800). Can I even get a swiss and what would this cost?
  24. I purchased a Breitling Navitmer 8 months ago and want to know if I can buy a replacement movement and install it myself. I have no watch repair experience whatsoever. And where can I pick one up?
