Since I am brand new to all of this, I wanted some advice. Between the 6 9 12 and Tricompax version of the Navitimer, with black dial, is one a better choice than the other? I have read Andrew's guide, but maybe there is more to consider. I have not even seen the 6 9 12 in person because they are not made anymore, but I seem to prefer the look compared to the Tricompax based on photos I have seen. Also, I am in the USA. What do I need to do in order to have a successful transaction? All help is appreciated.

How would you suggest someone in the USA order?

I am interested in a Breitling Navitimer with a black dial. I do not care about imperfections such as the date font, the slide rule, etc. The reason I want one is because I am in love with the way the watch looks. Are the replicas listed on the recommended sights really good enough to fool experts if they were to just glance quickly at them? I am worried that the colors may be off even though it is just black and off white. Are the colors accurate? I saw one Navitimer that even I could tell was a fake, with silver dials. I hate to spend $250 and be disappointed. Do these replicas look like the real thing?
