Many people have mentioned this before, but really beats me how the rep makers get so many simple and obvious things wrong. OK. Forget the complicated stuff like SS cases, bezel teeth and crystals. What about cheap, easy stuff like the hands and bezel inserts????

Um... Sorry to be picky, mate... but the bezel seems to sit quite high.

Crown guards look better than a lot on many SMP Bonds. Pity about the crown. Also the minute hand is too short.... but none of the current reps are flawless.

...only the Chronos have I seen come in quartz. Atleast with the quartz - you have the correct space dialing for the 3,6,9 layout.

Yeah, you can get the 2599.80 Chrono as a quartz, but it's not very authentic. Particularly bad is the that quartz has the subdial@6 counting the seconds. Just wrong.

Yes my pearl was better than that, it seems the pearl on that watch lacks a lot of lume, only the center has lume.

Looking at the pics of the rep you recently posted, it looks like the pearl on this version is smaller diameter.

I didnt put in a WM pearl, personally i dont care about pearls anymore. I really dont give a shitte if someone says its a fake, why your pearl is wrong, yeah right when is that going to happen?

Did you have remove the pearl from the bezel insert when you were sanding it?

On my SSD Lite i have removed the bezel insert, filed it down so it sits better on the bezel and also have modded the pearl. The bracelet has also been oiled and feels great...

Thanks for the explanation. I already knew that the SSD had a thicker crystal, bezel and case. But I really can't see the dimensions from the pictures I posted above.

Please explain how I can tell if it's a Sub case instead of the proper SD. I haven't got a good eye for this sort of thing.
