I have used canola oil many times without any problems, and it has next to no smell at all. I don't know how closely related to vegetable oil this is, but I have never had it go rancid or smell bad. I just don't know about having a synthetic lubricant (silicone, wd-40, etc.) on/absorbed into my skin over extended periods.

Not trying to be a smartass in any way, but does anyone think that because it will be so difficult to really take on/out the rep world (dealers, manufacturers, buyers, websites, etc), that the genuine brands will begin to reduce their pricing? I know this is more of a pipedream, but just a thought.

Kind of a strange question here, but I have this two tone submariner bracelet, and the Rolex corenet on the clasp cover looks almost exactly like a gen would. BUT I really dont care for the watch too much anymore, and I would like to use this clasp cover on a noob bracelet with an inaccurate coronet. What would be the best way to remove that gold plating so I could put it on the other bracelet? Thanks a bunch!

No, I got it from Ajoesmith (over on RG), but thanks for the heads up on the dial from Angus. I just might have to hit him up for that. Do you mind telling me how much you paid?? But the crystal sitting flush is of less impotance to me that that dial color, it is very noticable.

My crystal sits almost flush as well, and my dial is yellow compared to others I've seen and the gen (my dad has one). This stuff is starting to bug me more and more. Is anyone selling correct color dials??

Been reading up a lot, and got a few subs and a yachty on the way. I'll say one thing though, this [censored] is addictive. I get a watch, and I want another one a few days later. Too much cool stuff.
