  1. TMG - Thank you again soooo much for putting this up in the Raffle! You've been nothing but a pleasure to deal with...he's a true gentlemen...and an invaluable member here at RWG...

Thanks to Lani for putting this whole thing together...truly an amazing guy!

Thanks again to everybody who bought tickets...you guy made it all possible! I am working on getting some pics up in a bit...

    THANKS RWG!

Lucky, lucky man! I'm not jealous...I'm not....really....I'm not.

    I'm not, you know.

    OK, I am. VERY. :animal_rooster:

  2. I feel for you.

I sent back a JVC camcorder recently, as the zoom would work on its own, randomly.

The retailer sent it back to me with a 'fault not found' statement. To add insult to injury, when I looked at the still images saved on the memory card, I saw 3 pictures of the monkeys in the stock room, having a right old time with my camcorder.

In one picture, the warehouseman was giving a 'two fingered salute' to the camera!

I wasn't pleased, complained, and was promptly ignored despite repeated attempts to get some proper 'service'.

Makes you wonder how these clowns stay in business.

  3. @ Red...you can do the mod on this one to make it more visually accurate...if it bothers you.

When you hold these things in your hand, you have to assess at the size of the piece, whether it bugs you enough to have the hour hand in synch with the 6-o-clock subdial, or whether or not you would rather freeze it. I'll probably freeze mine in the future...but right now, it bothers me none.

I took a different view with my Speedy. I removed the 6 sub dial hand, and relocated it 5 hours ahead of the main hour hand. In this way it never looks synched to the eye, and gives the impression of accumulated hours on the chrono. Works well.

    Give it a try!

    @ hackR....great piece! I need one myself.
