Great thread for sure. Love to read theese old posts. Alot of them showing up lately
-
What were you searching for that you resurrected this year old thread? BTW, only half of your statement is really true.
I was searching for a thread like "best white faced watch" to get inspired. Im looking for a new watch with white dial.. and ran into this thread. So what was wrong with my tip?
-
Its not the watch that brings attention from the ladies.. its you! Just wear whatever but stand tall and look sharp and the ladies will come to you.
Thats my free tip of the day

Waiting patiently for the Superocean 44mm.
Just remember that im first in line for that one
-
Agreed...which explains why I've been dormant for a while. We need some non-PAM love.
Same for me. Just waiting for something else. Love pams, but love an Abyss 44mm more
-
Im just saying.. with the Colt and Superocean just released there might be someting really great coming out soon? Theese releases are quartz and seems low budget.. but it means that the factories are working right? Im so tired, no more new pams..

Mehe.. as a swede i can just say... bad luck
Talk to Domi though, he has a guy here on the forums that will help you with the language... aka translate for you
Send me a PM and ill supply his email adress and you will be able to use english in your emails.
P.s Domi is great as stated above.

Good luck with the watch, im sure you will love it. I got the brown strap from Mary, i can recommend that dealer. I would get it with the brown strap instead of rubber if i had the choice. 500$ is alot for a 3 year old rep.. but its a great one

I have to agree. When im rich and famous ill have one of the watches above on my wrist. Just pure class. Until then im happy with a decent, reliable rep..

Hopefully they start releasing something that is NOT Panerai or Rolex.
+1 on that!

nice Slask...i have the same one with aftermarket lume...funny thing is i can't seem to find a strap i like with it...
but - it is an interesting watch - and one that many people notice...for whatever reason, i get more compliments with this one than many of my others...in Upstate NY, many people wear large/loud department store pieces (Macy's and the like)...i think that's part of the reason people compliment this one - they think its one of them...lol...
I have to agree. It doesnt look expensive, just.. cool. I have a friend that has a GANT watch that looks similar to this. No AR or something like that but it sure looks alot like this. Dont like it
I have now tried with the original rubber, an aftermarket tan strap and the rep brown strap is in the mail on its way to me. I agree i havent found the perfect strap for it yet. The good news is that the watch look great on any strap
-
LOL. That pic is a keeper. All in good fun ofcourse :-)

Thank you mannen! Love it, got a few new straps coming my way as we speak. Next will be the Abyss 44mm (out q1 2012?) and maybe a PAM360. Btw mate im in GBG on the 13`th if you want to share a beer.. I need to check out that Tudor of yours

I just wanted to share my love for this watch. I got it from my dude sixx a couple of weeks ago and im in love with it. Sixx is tha man!
It has the Valgranes movement and is serviced by a well known member on the forum. I know this watch is hard to get from the dealers today, the A7750 is avalible but not the Valgranes one.
The reps i wear is usualy of less known brands. And no Hublots, AP etc cause they are to expensive irl. I would like to wear my watch in public without ppl screaming "fake".
I just have to say that this watch is awsome. Its big, loud and ppl really notice it. I normaly wear a Ebel 1911 (black) as a daily beater but no one notice that.. but this one is another story. At work ALOT of ppl are into watches.. and wearing this has led to a few new members here...
Anyways.. if you find a good deal on this watch.. get it! It wont be around for much longer!
Sry for the quality of the pics, its from my Galaxy S2. I had to sell my Canon GX9 to get more watches
P.s
If you are thinking of wearing this with a suit... forget it. It wont fit under the shirt. Told you.. Its loud!

I want mine between normal and tight.. who would have thought anything else
I have a hard time finding the perfect fit. Its either to loose or to tight. I actually had to get rid of a few watches because of that. I wish all bracelets had micro adjustment like the new subs. Only watch so far where i have a perfect fit!
