Returning a watch sucks..
Thing is that on the dealers qc pics the date was fine.. So he probably had to adjust it manually.. Knowing it was bad. He didn't want to take it back until I told him I was a member on all the forums. Just not cool if you ask me. Anyways...

I can adjust the positioning of the date manually and then it will get centered. But at default (meaning for example at a automatic date change) the alignment is bad (se pics). I think i will return it. Its an expensive rep and i think the dw should be better aligned.

Hi,
I posted a similar question in other Brands area but no replies, so im trying here as well.
I just got my Chopard MM GTXXL LE with the asian copy Valgranes movement but it has a problem.
The DW is not aligned, and im wondering if its possible for a watch smith to sort that out. I need to align it better, but i have no knowlage of this movement.
Anyone knows if its possible or if i need to send it back to the dealer?
Hoping for some input

Good for you! I know the feeling and its not easy at the beginning. But after a week or two its a walk in the park. And remember folks, you can't really loose weight if you are consuming alcohol. Iv been on lchf for 4 months and only loose weight when I'm not drinking at all. Good luck, this might be the best decision you make :-)

Theese chopards must be the odd man out. Third post i make here about it and zero replies. Either that or the forum is dead. Such a shame.

Hi,
I just got my Chopard MM GTXXL LE and its a great watch. I have a problem with with DW though. Its badly aligned, so bad that a part of the date is not shown.
I have the version with the modded A7750, the Asia Copy ETA Valgranes A07.211. Im not familiar with this movement so i need your help.
Do you think that a watch smith can sort the allignment of the dw or do i need to send this watch back to the dealer?
As usual.. sry for the bad english..

Hi,
I have a Chopard GTXXL LE coming my way and i would like to fit it with a brown leatherstrap, still using the deployment buckle that comes with the rep rubberstrap. I have not been able to find anything that could work. Any ideas?
I would like not to go the custom way since its to expensive for me atm.
Appriciate any hints on where to get one

Same here. Was talking to him about a purshace when he told me he was in the hospital and that he would pm when back. No word since then and that was about two months ago. I hope he is ok.

Thnx offshore. Just placed an order. They only had the green. I just want back to the original finish of an ebel 1911 bracelet. Will be tricky cause the bracelet is made both of brushed and polished bits.
cheers

I get really good results with a CC. Like Offshore says,It will remove AR,so be careful. Then again If you want to remove outer AR,say due to scratches, the cc works great. When it comes to brushed I use a Scotch brite pad. I had a pretty bad scratch on the clasp of my Omega SMPO. The SBP removed It In a few min. Just remember when using a SBP,go with the grain, In one direction. I also find It helps to have the pad slightly danp, eaiser to work with Imo. Between the CC and SBP I've been able to keep my watches looking really nice.:)Mike
What SBP do you use? There are a million versions. PLs advice

Hm ok. Im an AR junkie. I dont care if the rep is non perfect in replication, just as long as it has a deep, clear double AR. Its almost like pr0n
A good AR makes the watch so sexy.
So "Swizz AR standards" dosent mean what i described above. Does it mean "same" AR as the gen then? I just dont get it. Hype or any truth behind it?

Just take the offer of a replacement strap. No idea why he should apologise to you, that's just a weird option in business. Good luck and let's hope you get happy in the end.
