  1. hehehe @ FxrAndy.. got me worried there fo a while.

BBS rocks though to keep it on topic ;)

man im a newbie.. been online 20 years.. and im still trolling :bangin:

But i agree, mods and staff in general is a major part in a forums success. I might not be to clear to ppl who only use this forum.. but its because the staff here dosent play the mini hitler game..

  2. I'm actually a bit surprised that Ebel is leading for now. Considering the large fan base brands like Rolex and Panerai have here on RWG, one would think that 1911 would not be even considered.

I have to agree with you. When it came out it didnt make all that fuss. But it seems it gets better over the years. I bought mine in 2008 and the only one that talked about it was By-Tor. But its a small brand, im so happy i own one now.

  3. I think the Panda 1911 is better than the black version (and I have the gen of that). The only thing is the pushers are a bit long and the finish is slightly better

on the gens. Both minor, especially considering the watch costs $250 vs. $4500 list for the gens. I got very lucky and was able to pick up one for $1200 @

Overstock.com during a crazy holiday sale several years ago. I doubt that they will repeat that.

Love both the panda and the black one (look at my sig ;)). But dont both have the issue with to big pushers?

  4. The best dealers are here on this forum. Always remember what this hobby is: buying and selling contraband items. If you can grasp the nature of the thing, it becomes more clear to you what to expect.

All the dealers on this site can be trusted with your orders. Some have great web sites, and some have NO web site. Some dealers here receive more negative feedback than others. This can be caused by trying to grow too quickly and losing control of your business or being small to begin with and trying to handle the flow of orders from these large forums. Some dealers are "companies" and some are one-person shops.

The dealers mostly buy the exact same watches from the factories or from a watch bazaar. Moving from dealer to dealer will not improve the quality of a watch replica.

That said, some dealers cater to the low end, offering mostly quartz or a21j watches. That is by design, and not because their "factory" builds worse replicas ... it's marketing to a different crowd of buyers.

The speed of delivery depends on a few things .. did you want to pay for EMS courier shipping or will you only pay for Air Mail (5 days or two weeks, your choice) .. also is it a pre-order of a hot piece, where you will have to wait a few weeks for the watch to become available due to the huge demand.

All the dealers here "stand behind" their sales, since it's a prerequisite to being a trusted dealer. You get an opportunity to reject a watch on a cosmetic basis via approval photos sent before shipment. Then if it arrives to you broken you have the option of returning it for repair or replacement. If it is seized by Customs in your country, it will normally be replaced (ONCE) free of charge.

About communication: Some dealers are much better with this than others. A rule of thumb, tho, is that dealers who are willing to hold your hand and spoon feed you also charge the most money for their watches.

Now thats a serious reply. OP you should be good to go! No more drinking for me ;)

  5. I guess the lume is a tell but not one that would bother me, considering no one inspects my watch's in the dark ;) Day time acuracy is there thou, and if we bring lume into the equation then most reps would fail, like the skyland, barely any glow, as most rep lume prier to 2011.

As for the v1 005k, I compared it to the latest 111N, I was desperately looking forward to the new noob offering and was disappointed when it arrived, it is not finnished nearly as nice as the v1 5k was, machining marks where the lugs meet the case, lug screws not as flush and the non threaded side has the holes a little bigger so theres slop in the lug screw, the CG lever was not flush to the CG body, over all not as nice unfortunately :(

Good points about the lume. But imagine you are out in the sun.. charging that lume. Then you suddenly walk in to a dark bar thats full of WIS ppl. They WILL notice. This is possible.. ;)

But true.. if lume is to consider only the 2011-2012 reps should be on this list right?

I do belive you and respect what you say about the 005 v1. But i would like to know from more members what they think about the 005 v1. Pls contribute. Otherwise i will put it on the list... 22 watches now..
