  1. Cut-out looks fine as well as the roller-bearing positioning. Here are some gen examples at approximately the same angle (just tipped forward a little in one)...

Thnx for the info and taking the time to post this. I was fooled since the 112 i have had for the last two weeks has an slightly fatter cg. I think this new cg is actually an improvement.

    cheers

  2. Hi,

I really dont like to post theese "does it look allright to you". But i just recieved my qc pics and im a bit unsure here. The watch looks great, with the vintage hands and all. But the cutout of the CG looks a bit off to me. It looks to big, you can se a bit of the leverpin in the cutout. What do you think? I think maybe new dial but old CG. Or new batch might have a CG like this?

    Thnx and pls comment :)

  3. Hi slask the difference between modern and vintage is if you look at the hands at there tips, if the lume goes past the beginning of the points on the hands then they are vintage hands. Hope that makes sense ;)

And if the lume stops before the hands start to point then they are modern hands :)

Cheers. Now i know what to look for. Actually looking at my qc pics now regardning the newest 111... vintage hands on that one ;)

  4. There is just "updated" 111, 112, 005 etc from noob. They update them all the time. Latest batch has new vintage hands. Before thet they updated SN engraving, CG etc. They dont post it as v2, v3 etc. You can follow the blog from puretime to get the latest news. The 111 should be back in stock now. Trevor and Puretime has them.

  5. Seems the link www.fv-skialpin.de/db_pics/1/grade1truths.pdf is invalid. I would like to read about the "truth" :)

Anyway that dude seems to be missing a screw. Or we are.

Maybe we are living in a bubble? Maybe there is better reps at the unknown dealers that sell 800$ 48 jewels swizz rolex. Are we all fooled? Maybe not.

But then again. We look at out td`s pages and believe that they have the best reps. Why?

  6. Where can i find short straps that's not custom made? I know the watch boys usually carry them but they seem to be out of stock at the moment. I'm looking for a Panerai black calf leather 110/70 24/22 mm.

    Cheers

  7. Im not the guy to talk to when it comes to making reviews or shooting awesome pictures. So i will do a quick write-up about my latest Pam.

This is the n00b Panerai 112m with same case, CG, AR etc as the famous 111. Version 2 or 3, who knows. Its the latest ;)

Bought this from Trevor. Great price and spacerocket speed shipping. From sender to buyer (me) in three days! Took two weeks to conclude payment, qc pics etc but all in all it took the same time as from any other TD.

I have recently sold my H-maker 390 so i will compare this 112 with that. This does not mean that this is a true comparison H vs. N, but it might help someone.

    N00b strong points:

Crownguard. Its sooo much better then the one on my 390. Lever pin is much tighter and no "floppiness". The inner walls is square and straight. The CG feels tighter to the case as well.

Lume: Now this might not be a fair to compare the 112 against the 390. The 390 has vintage lume which does not glow as much. This 112 is so much stronger and lasts longer. I do like the lume color of the 390 better though.

    H-maker strong points:

AR. I had a hard time taking pictures of the 112 dial. It has a lot of reflections compared to the 390. The H-maker AR is just awesome. Im almost wondering if the 112 comes without AR.

All in all i love this 112m. My love is for base models. I feel this 112m from N00b is perfect.. if it could have a little stronger AR.

Now on to a few pics:

P.s This watch has the low bar A. Seems its a shot in the dark if you get a watch with low bar A or not. Does it bother me? Nope :)
