The good part of the good old days - everybody took PayPal, no WU premiums.
The bad part of the good old days - nobody posted prices, had to send out an email, and everybody got a different price.
We will at least agree wholeheartedly on this point.
Never going to give up my red 911SC, a true classic.
However, I may be driving it with my new summertime blue sub on the wrist!
Well I see Rolodex has finally decided to resurrect the summertime blue sub.
All I can say is it's about time!!!
This has always been one of the most beautiful colored subs.
I am sure this will come with the obligatory ceramic bezel and rolodex-rolodex-relodex rehaut.
In white gold retails close to $30,000.
Okay rep factory's, start making them cause I am going to need one of these.
I have the previous version and I must say it is still one of my favorites after all these years.
Agree - I have been looking for a Breitling black leather strap with black stitching to go with my Black Steel.
Can't seem to find one anywhere.
Got Pam leather straps in black/black to go with my black PVD Pams.
Why no Breitling leather black/black straps out there?
What about Cape Cod on black PVD coated watches?
I hear guys do this to tone down the black a notch.
Let's say like on the Skyland PVD to make it look more like the black steel color?
Thank you again Rob,
My watch tool inventory continues to grow at the same pace as my watch collection.
Buy a watch - buy a tool or two.
Looks like my next purchase is the Horotec bezel remover - $$$!
I read somewhere these are prone to scratch the case?
Must be some secret to prevent this from happening.
Otto Frei and I are becoming too good of friends these days!
Thank you Rob.
Just how do I go about removing the bezel/crystal from the case?
Can't find a good inside the case lip to properly pry it off.
My first Pam broken crystal replacement attempt.
Damn these broken crystals are very sharp!
Cut my finger already just pulling the movement.
Wonder how many Band-Aids this project will require?
Appreciate the advice.
The whole crystal on my 212 broke out of the watch couple months ago.
I have sourced a couple crystals for replacement but I am stuck trying to figure out how to get the remaining crystal out.
The movement came out easily enough.
The two pushers seem to be in the way next and I can't figure out if these really need to come out.
I can't even figure out how to get the last reminants of the crystal out either.
Nothing to push on with the crystal press with the crystal broke out.
Really stuck on this one guys.
Any thoughts?
Yup, still waiting on parts he promised to ship me for watches with problems bought from him.
That said, as we all know, most all dealers have similiar issues.
The nature of the black market trade me thinks.
