as far as I can see, the comment was directed toward RWI not here.... Blade and admin got along quite well...
I believe that comment was directed toward the darkside. He actually made several poistive comments about Rongoms.

was this version ever produced in this size? I have searched and can't find any but the newer 42mm versions.
thanks

If you decide to get this model, ask Trusty to give you one with the longer minute hand. This one is not correct. I know he has the correct one.
...and remind him to include the FOURTH HAND

Hello Blade,
Relieved to see that you are ok. We have ( mods and senior members ) relocated the site & reimbursed the members who lost their money on the rwg watch project..... thanks in large part to member generosity and one large anonymous donation.
I as well as all old and new rwg members would love to know what kind of troubles kept you from rwg up until this moment.

Yes, JF I am aware of the recent activities and my hats off to you guys for taking on the challenge. I will be bringing down RWG soon and joining up at your new site. (Under a different name of course)
Legal matters, personal matters, financial matters, you name it.... Have kept me away from here.
All will be explained soon.

A friend of mine in Mexico City has that model. It is truly beautiful. One of the prettiest watches you'll ever see.....and expensive!
wish they'd make a rep of it.

I kinda like this IWC Jones, looks neat. How big is it?
43mm

Pam 188 with latest Swiss movement?

Well done! that's the best I've seen. I'd never take it off.

Holy [censored], richard. you're right. People are gonna know I'm wearing a rep, all because of his stupid book with info pirated from these forums, while I've been trying to fool people all this time.
We've all been had!
-
" the gripe" is not coming from someone who was ripped off. It's just someone with a personal opinion.
Richard's book helped me early on. Great material to learn from. If in fact, he got it from these forums, so much the better. Who better to get it from?

This is turning into [censored] RWG1. give it a break. Nothing new to say in public.
please continue this in private.

Yes me talk limitid. not big word.
At this point, my retort should be something about your limited reading and comprehension ability, but that seems too ... old RWG.
Here's what I was trying to say: Any review written about Asspire may, or may not be the result of an offer of a free watch. I am not questioning your principles or honesty because I don't know you. However, the fact that there may be payola reviews out there means we have to look at every review as possibly tainted. This is why the concept of "Watches for good reviews" was marketing suicide. You're not unprincipled and stupid, but whoever came up with the bribery plan may well be.
Please re-read my post as questioning Paul's integrity, not yours.
alright Pugwash. No offence taken.
-
This is a good example of why I can't trust Paul. He bribes people with a free watch for a good review. This means every review of Aspire has to be tempered with the thought that maybe it's "sexed-up" a little just to make sure that free watch arrives in the post.
If I have reason to doubt good reviews, it kinda puts me off and makes me wonder if that is merely the tip of the iceberg. How much is he paying for reviews? What other dirty tricks is he using?
The emperor is indeed naked, and he's not even a real emperor. Caveat Emptor.
Are you suggesting that Paul has bribed me with a free watch for a review (which I've never done)? That was meant personally? or is your command of the language limited.

the three and six markers are fine. I know the real one well (a friend has it). this one is pretty spot on. whatever flaws there are, are not readily apparent.
I was gonna get the gen, but this one is close enough for me. I'm in.

You mean several people who don't want you here, means you won't post offers to all the others here who would like to participate???
-
wonderful article. very informative.
thanks

With a swan neck or without a swan neck, if you turn it over, it will still be obvious that it's a rep.

I just picked up MBW's bond sub for under $400. It needs almost nothing. dial is aged beautifully. now if I had a GEN, that would be different.

I see Paul as taking business away from our family of dealers, who never burned or spurned us,
as he once did. When I say US I don't mean every individual but us as a collective.
I also feel that we will never gain the type of pricing and service which we deserve, if
we spread our money out over too wide a circle...deluting our buying power to such
a degree that we become just like every other person who has not found the way to
our little oasis...
Seems people don't realize the power we have here and don't know how beneficial it would
be if we wielded it in unison.....
That's one I don't get. you're logic is fuzzy. We have only added three or four worthwhile dealers in the last period of time. Paul's been here many years, and yes, he f**ked up with his crazy sale, but since then has been as reliable as any.
We don't delete our buying power by having 8 or 10 dealers as opposed to 12 or so.We're a steady source as opposed to those who only want to buy one watch. we are as good as it gets for dealers...collectors! And they are as good as it gets for us.
