    Other than the lugs, it just looks the same as a dozen other ones.

     

    A $500 watch with a $150 movement that they'll sell for $6000. I just don't get it.

     

    Me neither...but anything that says OP on it will get the 'risit falling all over themselves to buy one...

     

    I will sit back and wait for reduced price version available here...

    Love, love, love both these watches but would prefer sapphire any day to the "plastic" fake vintage hype of plexy

     

    these 47mm beasts are GOING to get dinged up a lot for sure.

    Both the 188 and 113 are excellent white dial PAMs.  As are pretty much all white dialed watches...

     

    I don't think they are female at all.  Would you pass on the White dialed daytona?  Or is that "female" too? :huh: I don't get where the 113 is more "female"... :g:

     

    Mate, wear what you like but if you "feel" it is female, then by all means--don't. :g:

     

    IDGAF what others think about my pink shirts, white loafers, or white strapped watches....I wear what I like.  Period.  I used to own the gen 113 and wore the shit out of it until something else caught my eye.  So it got sold off.  Hell, even had a gen dial franken 113 and that got flipped later...(yes, i have a problem) :fool:  Also had the older swiss 7753 188 rep years back but that was "lost" somewhere on its way to a member in dubai...

     

    ALE on RWI has put together another "fabulous" (over used 'female' word) review on the Gen vs Rep 188.  Looks to be a decent rep. B)

     

    I plan on adding it back to the collection very soon.

    The 88 rep looks great!  Having owned the gen 88 in the past, I really miss it sometimes even though it always gave me fits on strap selection as the different colored sub dial just never looked right with the straps in my collection.  The brown OEM honey croc looks right!

     

    That ghost 237 looks really good too!

     

    Would the a gen swiss 2893 movement fit these reps?

    i think the quality is ok, but not that impressed, maybe because he hand made these, the watch pillow seem not in same size. also the height of the case is not high enough, i have to push the case to close and lock it or it cannot close properly.

     

     

    Nice collection.

     

    Rainer's boxes are not made in Germany.  They are made in Asia.

    If you go stupid and decide to sell... let me know :) Haha.  Can't get over how great this watch is.  I actually bought an 089E to get a PAM with a dial other then black.  Good stuff!

     

    Yes, and stupid is right as I have gone "full retard" and picked up the SE box, paps, stickers, scroll for the 36....I am sending out "voodoo jedi mind waves" to FGD to sell me his 82 SE box set...

    Still some more work to do on them but am enjoying them now for the moment.  :)

     

    Very Nice - blue rules for me and has been on my wish list for many years ...already have the SE box and papers from a gen 082 , all I'm waiting for now is that dial......  :wub:

    Caseback is oem on the 082 as well??? Amazing pieces!

    Don't see the 082 very often, good stuff!

     

    Surprised at that...thought there would be a few more out there as W0lf has a 36 franken and Cubeistan's T dial 36 franken.  Maybe some 82s are still out there to be had.
