I have a few questions. I have made up my mind and will be buying the quartz version (afterall, the gen also comes in a quartz too). --Does the quartz version uses the same case, bezel, and strap as the auto version? (Minus the clear backing of course). --Does the quartz version uses mineral crystal instead of saffire? I've got conflicting descriptions from various websites. --Is the dial & spacing of the subdials accurate like the gen? Someone said that the spacing is not correct. Not sure but I could be wrong. If everything is true about this, then the quartz version is a great deal at under $150USD. =)

Thanks for the advice guys. I concur with you all. I'll get myself an automatic 21J without chronos then. One more question, being that this is an expensive hobby, are the resale value for good condition reps above 80% and up? I ask that because on some of my other hobbies, I can't seem to sell my stuff for that high of a resale value. example, baseball cards, comics, knives, shoes, etc. Yea, automatics watched rule!

I just signed up here a couple days ago and like all hobbies I just want to buy every replica in site. In the last few days I've been glued to this forum for hours and have already made my wish list. I am sooo worried about my wallet now. I went crazy joining a flashlight forum a few months ago and blew a couple hundred dollars there immediately. I do not have alot of disposible income and would like to start of with a few quartz reps, then eventually i'll move to automatics & maybe at least one swiss ETA.
