Hi all, a lil advice needed pls. Got a hold of a blue YM dial for my sister's white-dialed TT YM (gen unfortunately). After getting the watch guy to do the switcheroo, then noticed the date disc colour doesnt match! Stoopid me! So did a lil research...should be the cal 2235 disc? Ebayed it and found 2 types. I emailed the seller to ask which wld fit the ladies YM but he never replied...wld anyone care to chime in? How would you glue the dial down without impeding the movement. Unfortunately it aint an el cheapo rep..im using the sandoz TT sub...a very sturdy case otherwise.... Thanks

Sorry what are the "sticks" or "dial dots"? How does one avail of them? And the "date wheel overlay"? I'm using a gen ETA on a sandoz TT sub...coz i dunno, everyones always talking about how the TT Sub reps' gold dont hold up, but this baby's gold has been going strong for 4 years with no end in sight! sO I GOT ITCHY..... SIgh...

Hi can anyone enlighten me as to how this is done as i have successfully murdered my gen TT sub blue dial trying to get it to fit my ETA movement. First of all, the feet didnt match, so i had to break em and superglue em into place (not ideal..keeps breaking off still)... Then the date window doesnt align itself with the datewheel! How did bytor get this done on his explorer 2? Sigh

Can i ask, why is the hour wheel still needed since you've got the ebel 134 already? Isn't all you need the hands, a case, a crown and pushers?

Im also looking for a good insert. My Euromariner LV insert fell off as the glue came undone! Wld any of these snap into the euromariner bezel assembly? Using glue to hold it in just seems a lil lame...

That's EXACTLY what i'm intent on doing! I've a couple of gens, and like you guys say, there's noting else to be done after other than to lust after the next thing that's going to burn a hole in yr pocket! I'm so happy i've stumbled onto this site...now i'm trying to buy reps of the gens i have !!!!! And i'd wear em both to confuse the crapola outta the snobs and [censored]!

Do the dealers here sell such dials with all the bling? I must confess, one of them blue MOP dials with diamonds and sapphires look really sweet on the sub! If anyone here can recommend similar dials here pls gimme a shoutout!

Sorry guys, i forgot to ask..is it just the diameter that is of concern? What about the feet on the gen dial? Would it be similarly placed on certain reps etc? Thanks in advance

Hey thanks so much for replying! Really. I've contacted Chris, he thinks it should be able to accomodate the gen dial and asked me to double-check it with you...hence my post... Dunno if he has the old one in stock...you think the black one can have the gen dial fitted in?...sorry for the inane questions...but i was really inspired by yr review and went and got me a gen dial! =)

Chris has said that it can accomodate a gen dial too...how different is his from yours (which is extinct now), do you know? Hope you can enlighten me...no worries if you can't or are too busy....
