  5. why is there not much talk about VC overseas?? I've always really liked the older style overseas, the newer model looks a little too dressy for a sports watch imo... what do you guys think, anyone still into the overseas? care to share experiences??

  10. I'm interested in a Ulysse Nardin MMDC. I really love the look of the rose gold model....but..... for everyday? I know there have been topics on gold and everyday type use...how about rose gold; I assume its the same dealeo. so, does anyone here wear a rep rose gold watch everyday casually? or is this more of a dress type watch? thankies!
  11. how about the rubber strap? I know the screws should be black...but there aren't many good pictures of the clasp
  12. omg, that strap on the 117
  13. opinions on the MMDC? looks kind of cheap for the price tag everyone is asking... any talk on reps of a regular MMD?? man, do I ever love Ulysse Nardin, and I would definitely give the MMDC a try if it weren't almost 400 bucks!!! whats the deal!!
  14. 5500? for an AP with all diamonds? haha okay.. most def a rep with asian movement and cubic zurc's...please don't think of paying more than 200 for this...please
  15. you can't add gen parts to other reps? I've been told other things......
  16. I guess the 5513/14 as well.. btw, the only diff between 1680 and 1665 is the mag on the glass right? :| I think I may go for a 1665 gw.. and to Creation88, did you send a M.O.? mine took about 2 weeks to process and I received confirmation from Chris shortly after. Hope all goes well! He seems to be backed up lately
  17. I heard white MBW's are of better accuracy.... off of eurotimez, I can't decide which one I like most for some reason! maybe someone can help me into choosing "the one"?
  18. 21, or younger? just curious. if so, what watches ya wearing/own? only one I have (for now) Breitling Skyland gray v2 / ss bracelet share up!
  19. get a new cc? nice with the blue! I have a gray myself, love it! only prob with gray is I find the subdials are hard to see the gradation (think thats what its called?)
  20. actually, its very common with cheaper reps. I'm taking about asian movements though I've had a couple that had this problem, anytime the rotor spun either way, annoying clicking sounds.. I was guessing some winding clogs are worn down instead of the rotor in mine, and I still think they are as the rotor was tight...
  21. thanks guys all i really needed to know! was hoping my question wasn't repeatedly asked millions of times!!
  22. kind of an odd question, couldn't find in search... what years are the MBW rollies vintage based on? 80's? where would you find info on specific rolex's from that time? I'd like to compare some MBW's with gen vintage models (mostly sea-dweller) I'm not to knowledgeable about the vintage or older type rolex models at all..the only one I recognize is the comex one. by the way, this might have been answered numerous amounts of times, but why are MBW's so darn pricey for what they are? are they professionaly lumed? I know they have ETA movements, but still...lots of them are pretty basic. if anyone can help me with any of my questions, it would be great! I shall be back soon, I just don't know what model to get! I'm thinking red? maybe?
  23. I've been praying for a Ulysse Nardin Maxi diver for sooooooo long.. I'm happy they are finally getting to it! now just to pray for a Blancpain Fathoms
