Actually, I just noticed that too! I think...it was a hair from my cat and some fingerprint smudges..as my cat was curled up in my lap at the time and I had a hard time positioning the watch in my hand lol... I just wiped with a lint cloth and its crystal clear...no pun intended I will try to get some more "professional" pics later if anyone is interested

Finally, got my AS v2!!! So far, only had it two days, but upon arrival I was STUNNED! honestly, the thing reeks of quality... everything is so fluent, and looks amazing. I hope to replace a couple things like the bezel to a gen and perhaps get a gen rubber strap...but, you really really really don't need too...out of the box is pretty much perfect. anyways, I decided to get the gray dial one, I really like the way it looks in the sun and with the fighterII bracelet. Only problem with the gray is with black straps, looks a bit off...no problem, I enjoy bracelets a little more! IT WEIGHS A TON!!! so if you dont like bulky, heavy watches, do not look at this one!!! I love the feeling of hefty watches, so this is a dream come true. Go to a local jewelry store, try on some swiss army watches, movado, rado, then put on this beast...you can't even come close...love it!!! as for pics...sorry, I am using a REALLY cheap digi cam, its really hard to program and use, but I managed to get off a couple pics...nothing even CLOSE to others in comparison...but, by now, you should already know what these guys look like! No, those aren't scratches on the crystal, thats from the camera... It arrived in perfect condition! If you can notice...probably not, but the lume dots are almost all perfect...ironically enough, the 4 is almost dead on...the 3 is off, barely noticeable...only with a close look or loope. On another note, Chris was very nice to deal with! Answered all my emails within a reasonable time.. didn't even have to phone in! even though he was very busy with other orders AND redoing his site...very professional! hats off to you Chris! My second rep purchase! will be ordering from Chris again!! Highly recommended!!! Thanks!!!

well...Black is black, gray is lighter then black and blue is blue I think the lume dots are all the same problem with all of them...which to be honest, isn't that huge of a problem to begin with...this isn't a gen watch were talking about. Get it relumed if you care so much about it, I can barely notice the tiny flaw. I wouldn't say its near perfect...it has problems just like any other rep does. You can't promote a 300 dollar watch and compare it to a 3k+ watch, it gets you into a nice feel of it, so you can decide whether you really want to fork that kinda cash in your future

I mostly see Tissot's and Siekos up here in Canada... :| some rollies... then again, my city isn't the biggest.. over in vancouver, the buisness tycoons all have diamond solid gold rollies and pams...its kind of sickening to be honest

alright, thanks to everyone who responded!! I read The Zigmeisters tut before, and even though he states it doesn't do anything to the gears...it makes you wonder. I have seen everyones pics of there chronos and the hand is stopped at 12... I guess I can see why you dont need it with the small second hand running, but wouldnt it look weird out in public? people would see your watch not running and think you dont know what your doing...idunno... then again...panerai doesnt have a big second hand...maybe I should get one of those my next purchase

that is the question?... I have for you guys will it matter if you have the second hand running (Chrono) or not running to keep better time/longevity the life of the watch?
