I pull everything apart and I even remove the glass, but it looks like a difficult job. this watch was the first version ever of the Planet ocean. not sure how to pull that tube out of the case

@Tribal quick question I have 1655 case that i converted to a 1675 and I wonder if a seiko NH 34 movement will actually fit the case. do you happen to know that. I was going to use a ETA 2893-2. but I think that it needs modification to raise the hand a bit away from the dial. thanks

Hello, My son who wears this one lost the crown. don't ask how, I made myself the same question. I think he left it open and and bumped into something and broke the stem. I have no been able to find one similar on ebay and even not sure how to pull the tube out. i guess is hold by friction?

the problem with that auto wind module is the lack of enough ball bearings and i think that makes it really loud. the new ones i had seen appear to have the correct number of ball bearings, if that is real picture the dealers have there

I don't think there is noob version of this. there are other version with a 4130 decorated as a 4131 with updated rotor

Yes. is all good, it looks like the factories were hit hard. I was just saying is a long wait and he even offered a refund, I have done business with him since 2007.

Just a heads up. I order on April 16 and I am still waiting for QC pictures. I never had problems before with him after 5 watches purchased since 2007.

Hello, I have not hear from anyone just yet. I still would like to finish this project, but just for my own satisfaction, I find myself only wearing the same two watches out of five that i have. Let me know what part do you have. the GMT movement that I have needs service and maybe buying a new ETA GMT movement would be wasier. the problem i was having is that the Dial that is a gen one looks to small for case opening. this is an old 1655 case.

Not sure, if anyone here already asked this before. bit is it possible to replace a balance bridge and a hair spring on a VSF 3235 clone movement. the hair spring is not very reliable and the shock absorbing does not work very well on clone movements, sometimes it get out of place and stop the watch. I have to open the watch just to blow air on it so it goes back the correct place. it may not even be cost effective to do this.
