  1. After many weeks of waiting (I order on 6th October) my watch arrived on Thursday (12th November).

I ordered the V5 and requested it to be fitted with the high beat DG4813 (it is $178 plus shipping) and after a long wait it finally arrived.

Here are some pics I have just taken

  2. I've not been active for a while but I recently bought a new camera and I also bought myself a budget priced Milsub so I thought I would share some photo's with you.

I really like the look and feel of this and I know it has flaws, but for the budget price that it cost, I dont think it's half bad?

I do think I need to leave it in the sun and do some 'ageing' on it now though, it looks far too new for a 35-40 year old watch, what do you guys think?

  3. Hi guys, I thought I would show you this, my latest purchase from over at one of the other forums who claims it is from a new manufacturer?

Seems to have a nice bevelled edged date window too.

  4. I have an old Daytona (seconds at 9) rep that I bought back in 2000 (running what I beieve is an asian 7750) and it has kept great time and had a lot of wear, however the red 'Daytona' has completely faded away on the dial.

I bought a seconds at 6 dial and movement complete to drop into this case, but the dial is about 2mm too small so doesn't look right.

I was wondering if it was possible to get a new dial for it, but to be correct for this rep I believe it should to be this model dial?

This is my current dial (as you can see the 'Daytona' has completely faded away).

Here is the seconds at 9 movement:

Any comments, advice or even information as to who made this case etc would be appreciated, again I bought this back in early 2000 and has worked fine and never missed a beat and has been swimming in several oceans in the past.

  5. After seeing another post for this 'lite' version (Here) I thought for $98 you really can't go wrong so I odered one to check it out.

Well mine arrived today and it weighs in at 149g feel good in the hand although the bracelet needs an oil.

Here are a couple of pics straight out of the box.

It appears I got one with a bad pearl though :disgust: Oh well, at this price I really can't complain and it's easily rectified.

  6. I contacted TomHighway in September and although he did send 1 reply, I am still waiting for him to reply to the next 3 PM's I sent him.....I decided he cannot be relied upon.

I am based in Yorkshire and wish there was a modder/watchmaker here on the forum that was willing to do work for the UK members, I think it's fair to say he would get plenty of work.

We need someone who can service, repair, re-lume, waterproof, CG mods etc etc here in the UK
