I don't have a lot of experience with rep dealers but I suspect they all "bend" the truth a bit.. I do think if a dealer is asked a point blank question he should answer truthfully or if he can not answer the question he should say so. Prior to purchasing my WM9 V2 sub I asked George point blank if the watch movement was genuine ETA made in Switzerland. He stated that it was genuine ETA made in Switzerland and that was one of the reasons he charges more for his watches. I certainly do not have the expertise to identify the movement My watch goes to The Zigmeister in March for a full service. I would think The Zigmeister can provide the answer to that question Is it genuine Swiss made ETA or is it Memorex?..It will be interesting to find out I will be disappointed if George bent the truth as I based my decision to purchase his watch from his answer Bill

Why not put your efforts into something positive rather than allow yourself to be dragged down into the gutter of those whom you condemn? Happy New Year!

Playing with the newest lume, White with Blue glow.
URkuk replied to RWG Technical's topic in General Discussion
Probably only historical for me.. neat neat neat airplane (3 ) 700 hp BMW motors JU52/3m the 3m is Drie motren.. the first version only had 1 Look at those flaps...amazing It was like flying over Berlin in a cast iron bathtub with wings and horsepower.. smelled like an old airplane, vibrated like an old airplane, performed like an old airplane... but not bad climbs to 10,000 feet in about 15 minutes..and could haul MAJOR weight a day I will never forget.... finding the watch after that flight was the cherry on top of the whipped cream on top of the apple pie.... The lume on the Junkers really isn't bad..maybe we concentrate on repairing the watch before we improve it I never realized it before but it already is kind of blue Bill -

I managed to locate and repair the problem. In case anyone has a similar problem here is what I found. I soaked the entire bracelet in baby oil for about 3 hrs. I removed it from the oil, rinsed the bracelet and with some effort I managed to open the divers extension. The first link of the divers extension was real tight and did not rotate as it should. I removed the screw and inspected it with a loupe. I found a tiny burr on the body of the screw which I removed with a dremel. I put a drop of baby oil on the screw, reassembled the bracelet and the divers extension now works like a charm. Here is a photo of the culprit screw I think I will take ALL the screws out, inspect them and soak everything in baby oil overnight. The bracelet seems a bit stiff and now I suspect I might have additional screws with tiny burrs Bill

That is what I have been doing, I push the button and try to open it but it won't budge.. I wrote an email to George maybe he can fix or replace the bracelet Something is not right with this one Bill

I have a new WM9 V2 sub..I removed the bracelet to give it a baby oil bath and wanted to open the divers extension It does not want to open..Is there some trick I don't know about to open the extension? I thought it just pulled down?...I don't want to force it open for fear of damaging something. Any suggestions? Thanks Bill

Search Lyrics Browse Don't it ever get lonesome? Yeah! Sure gets lonesome . . . Don't it ever get sad when you go out on the road? Oh, there was one time in Minneapolis . . . when I thought I had the clap for sure Don't it ever get lonesome? Lonesome ain't the word Don't it ever get sad when you go out on a thirty day tour? Oh, I'll take away . . . You got nothing but groupies and promotors to love you And a pile of laundry by the hotel door Don't it ever get lonesome? Don't it ever give a young man the blues? Don't it ever get lonesome? Don't it ever make a young man wanna go back home? When the P.A. system eats it, And the band plays some of the most terrible [censored] you've ever known Don't you ever miss your House in the country and your Hot little mama too? Don't you ever miss your House in the country and your Hot little mama too? Don't you better get a Shot of the doctor for what the Road Ladies do to you?

Did Panerai ever produce a watch like that? Or is this a total fantasy piece?
