Alrite....so I know that the current rep of the TH Link Chrono doen't have AR just like the gen, but the new gen TH Link Chrono has double AR, and I for one think it looks awesome. I haven't seen Chief's double AR on the TH yet but other examples indicate so good AR that the crystal is Hardly visible. My friend has the gen and I still think that the crystal has glare to it, so I was wondering if I should just send it off for single AR? What do you think? /korn

So, after Rocketeer started up his services, I'm keen on having the crystal my new pam111h from Angus AR'ed. So the question is; which AR should I choose to have it closer to the gen? I've seen Chief's double AR and it looks amazing, but would that look more correct than if the crystal had single AR on the inside? thx /korn

Seems like this thread has died...or maybe continued in another thread...any news on the test run? Either way, having a pointman for Chieftang i EU, might be very helpful for us EU citizens....funny to see that no one has replied this. I could investigate further into customs restrictions and possible constraints for sending saphires to Chief - it the offer still stands from him. Unfortunately I don't think I have enough credibility, not to say experience within the replica world, else I would be happy to contribute. /korn

yikes a lot of watches...don't think the general in the house would appreciate me buying so many watches....unless I throw in a nice woman Tag! I'm very very close to submitting an order Still struggling my mind on some minor details...I REALLY like ti watches - IMO they can look sporty and elegant at the same time. Might I ask you? - I'm planning on buying from PT ptswiss.com, but the picture of his pam005 logo looks like ti or brushed steel - I'm liking this more than the polished steel, but I didn't know that it came in a brushed/ti version....or are my eyes just playing tricks on me ..and then the straps - still haven't entered into that world yet...until now I've use bracelets. thank /korn

I absolutely love these watches - that is; I have come to love them. Didn't like them at first but man have they turned into an obsession. I started out having about 12 watches to choose from...then I got a little smarter on which ones were more correct/accurate excluding many of the watches with clear case back - although many people don't ask you to take off the watch to investigate it and the fact that many don't know Panerai in the area I'm from (they are mostly familiar with Omegas and Tags) ...I'm still pretty keen on the 177H ti though - love the sandwich dial - but I'm located in the EU and PT doesn't have it. Then came the pam 29 - fantastic piece, but The Zigmeister's review on the 2836-2 movement and GMT hand problems, it scared me a bit ...and of course did I consider the pam88 and 89's but again, pulling my hair on details at CG's, Crowns, Crystals and movements I ended up with choosing... ...the pam005SWB Swiss Unitas 6497 258$ at tt88time. I'm thinking - with my noob eyes - that this watch is pretty close to the real deal out of the box - well at least closer than some of the others? Am I wrong? I just a pam soon ...and a shout of "thank yous" to all of for all the knowledge that has been collected here. /korn

thanks...but I was actually thinking more about the new A7750. DSN, according to his page, has a7750 b1 movement, which was the generation prior to the A7750 28.8k bph - well according to The Zigmeister's review. Has that changed?

I think I'll have a go at a pam from TT or puretime then...I was keen on the DSN's for a long time but I do prefer a A7750 28.8k bph movement. Thanks guys...I don't think I'll rushing in to "file-fit" the Guard yet, but with time I might. /Korn

Hi again... So I've been trying to figure this out for a while but I'm still not closer to an answer. I have read a lot of posts where new crowns have been "installed" and CG mods so that it will sit closer to case. But with these mods, can the lever still be fully functional, as that must be dependant on the sizes of either the CG "gap" or the crown's "thickness". I've yet to purchase a Pam, still thinking about which would be the best for me. /Korn - who's starting to become obsessed with pams

Hi, Still a noob...and definately on the Pam scene, but I have spent hours reading in this forum and checking out gens on paneristi.com. As I understand from reading in the forum, the best rep is probably the pam005 logo, which is also the one I favour alongside pam89 and the popular 111. So the problem is that I'm located in Europe and as I see it the best reps are from DSN and tt88time.com who are located outside the EU giving problems with customs etc. I have successfully bought from PT previously, but in this jungle of variating pam reps, I'm not sure how good his are compared to the abovementioned, with regards to lume, AR and other "mods". I found a post dated back to june last year claiming that Pams from PT were "standard" and assumed that they do meet the quality of the ones from DSN and tt88time.com. Is still correct? Do any of you non-noobs , have any experiences with EU-collectors and the quality? Awesome forum and thanks for all the help and info you guys post here /Korn

I' still trying to figure out the Pam rep. world - which mods are required etc., to make it look decent. how did you manage to tighten the lever as I would presume that the level of "tightness" is connected to the pin? - Any specific mods to the pin?
