Can't comment on their crystals as I buy the gens, but I bought a few inserts (black, rd, blue and green) from them about a year back and the pearls were the same obvious fakes (matt finish) as are most rep pearls... Have they improved since then?? Cheers.

Hey, cool!! I bought 2 gen LVs (one from Capetown Diamond Corp and the other from a Spanish ebay vendor - both unworn) myself - and have 2 rep versions from Trusty. I must say, not being anally expert, that the only major difference (as far as I'm concerned) between the reps and gens is the pearls. Does anyone know how I could buy really true-to-gen pearls that will fit the 16600/16610 sub bezel inserts?

Only 2+ hours to go... But I would worry about paying this kind of dosh to a seller with only 24 feedbacks and whose ebay name is not one that indicates that he/she is a watch specialist.... Buy it from folks like Astor Live or Essential Watches.. they are always superb and ethical..

Their blurb/claims are what one may expect "top quality Swiss watches". But in reality, they send watches that look like they've been rolled over by a JCB! As for remedying defective stuff - they just send you and even more decrepit version - and try to charge $80 for P&P. Caveat emptor - you have been warned!!

Has anyone got (or know where to get) a seriously close-to-gen bezel insert (with superlume pearl) and dial for the SD 16660? Ideally, I'd take 2 bezel inserts. Please help!! Thanks, guys.

Bought 2 off Trusty - fantastic. I must say that I hit the watch against the side of a low bollard and there was a micro-chip to the ceramic bezel. I expected it to crack! Solid stuff. THe watch keeps perfect time and the crystal is firmy fixed as it should be.

MUST BE SOMETHING WRONG WITH ME (AND NO, I DO NOT BAT FOR THE OTHER SIDE) - I SAW THE BOAT STRAIGHT OFF!!

Things will always get better. With Chinese ingenuity, it will happen. Remember all the things folks thought were impossible that we now take for granted.

What can I say - love watches! More of an addiction, really. I buy the real McCoy and then the reps - and vice versa. With this downturn - may have to stick with reps. I'm particularly interested in seriously modified jobs using real parts right through to Frankenwatches. Favourites: Pams, Rolexes, Pateks and Cartiers. Always happy to hear from likeminded folks.

IMOH, this - the extra large sized version - is one of the most stunning reps around - but seemingly impossible to find. Does anyone have any ideas how to track one down - even second hand (but must be in great condition)?
