I know this won't help now, but here's a link for just serial #'s....maybe just for future reference. I find myself using it a lot. http://www.dream-watches.co.uk/rolexData.asp

I just ordered mine from the bay. The felt wheel and green rouge leaves too many little scratches in ss for my taste. Hopefully the cape cod will remedy this. ps, did you try searching this? There's a ton of info on this site if you just put cape cod in the thread title search.

Nice pic! Did you do any mods or is this out of the box? Looks great either way! Now I'm self conscious about the hair on my arms lol!

The late A series was when the first SEL 93250 came out on the sub. Some great info! I've been trying to find info on this too so this helps! On the charts, I'm not seeing the 455b? So what were they from? Or are these just rep pieces? How far back (year wise) did the hollow mid links go back on the 91350's?
-
ok, lol, no wonder it looked so good in those pics! I assumed incorrectly that the pearl mod was switching out to the wm. So what did you do? It looks great!
-
Nice, looking forward to the new tutorial! The old was is great btw. Did you need to remove some material to make the WM pearl fit? Did you do any CG reshaping? Do you have pics of the mods yet? I might mod one of these and give it to my brother for Christmas, lol.

Reported to ebay. Can you imagine being the person ready to drop 1 grand on that and not even have a clue?
-
The seller claims it was verified at a jewler as authentic. We should all ask him if he knows it's a fake, so that way he doesn't get in trouble for counterfeiting!

I am still a big noob, but this is no match for a WIS! Or am I wrong? http://cgi.ebay.com/Rolex-Submariner-Stain...1QQcmdZViewItem

Can you take pics of the tube/crown? CG's look good as well...do you have a side profile shot to show themem off better? Overall, looks pretty good! The website pics make the pearl look HORRIBLE, but, in your pics, meh....not too bad! link? I'm not finding this price as well.

Wow! Some great works of art guys! I went through the whole thread and am amazed! Nice work! After looking through the pics, I began wondering where you guys are getting your sub non sel bracelets and endlinks from? And recommended places for an aspiring enthusiast? Thanks!

I read somewhere that since the bezel height is shorter on the euro the 2mm clark crystal was going to stick out too much. any input? besides, modding your cg's is like a rep wis tradition. wm9 and euro are top 2 imo.
-
yes, the clarks looks perfect on there! If the clark is too high for the euromariner, didn't Chris say he was going to use this? I haven't heard back from him yet.

Is there any difference in these subs? are they the same

^^^This info has been realy helpful, thx guys. I've been talking with chris about the mbk/euromariner. Just waiting for him to get back to me so I can pick one up! -

so people have had problems with paying for an eta movement from paul and got a copy or 4813 or worse a 2813?!?!? thx for the fast reply guys! -
this one is advertised as having a deeper rehaut. from the pics, it's kinda hard to tell. http://www.pam111.com/product_info.php?cPa...roducts_id=1165 there is no mention of that in this one. http://www.pam111.com/product_info.php?cPa...products_id=947 These are both noobmariners, right? or are they different cases? an mbk/euro would have the deeper rehaut, but the price doesn't reflect a euro. so what would be different about them? comments?

wow, a lot of nice cars in here! I see a few other boost lovers here too! I had a lot of fun building this car. Frankenstien high compression motor, full interior swap, etc. I would daily drive my C5 and would took my black car out of the garage on the weekends, no joke! my buddy John's 355 on the left. God, the sound of his car was amazing! My FMIC is no match for the Ferrari stables emblem. rolling on old school mugen. Since I sold the C5, it's now my dd. boosted and gets 35+ on the hiway. best I ever got was 42mpg on my way to Santa Monica CA. (17 km per liter)

thx for the help! I noticed some 25j ETA's have a "decorated" Rolex engraving and others just stick to their 25J ETA engravings. Is there a difference besides the engraving? Is this just something you have to ask the collector/seller about in regards as to which 25J ETA they are using?
-
nice! have anymore pics of the case? Like, the back, bezel etc. where did you get it from (and your friend too!) how do you like it compared to the sub? Is the thickness/size/weight not as comfortable as the sub? I like these and the sub, but the size is steering me towards the sub. comment?
-
Just wondering if anyone has any experience buying a rep box and from who they bought it from. Recommendations? thanks in advance, Chris

I am having trouble finding an older style sub with the lugholes and without the engraved glass. I can find tons of the newer style without lugholes and with the etched glass, but was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to point me in the right direction. Anyone have experience purchasing one? Thanks in advance! Chris

^^^^I know... and to top it off I am going to be >200K in debt when I graduate. thanks for the warm welcome guys! Yeah, I realize this is a replica site. I'm a DIYer kinda guy and I find interest in creating a quality replica. It's just seems fun to me. I LOVE the attention to detail. Having a real Rolex is great and I appreciate it for different things. But I also like "making" one too, and have that feeling of I did that. (with the help of here of course!) I am really fascinated with the history of the Sea Dweller and the Submariner. The red submariner and double red sea dwellers have great hx and uniqueness to them. And in all honesty, the people on this forum seem to know more about details of Rolex watches than the actual owners. I love the smallest details.... And being into replicas is a good way to focus in on those details. And good luck on getting in! I'm glad all that is over with, undergrad, MCAT, LOC's, essays, admissions, etc. Stay focused and dedicated!

I'm sorry because I'm a nob, but I'm having trouble searching and finding pictures of the movements sellers on this board are putting in the watches. Specifically, I am interested in the SD, euromariner, noobmariners, etc. Thx in advance and bear with me! Chris

sickkkk! where's this at? you might be able to apprecriate my buddies r1!

Hi, I'm obviously a noob but still I would like to get to know the community a little better. I am in the middle of my medical school education and found accidentally a passion for watches. It's really strange, I can't explain it! I am just fascinated about learning more about them, movements and history. I found myself bored of my other hobbies. So, to start this out, music is a big hobby of mine! Here's a band I was playing with (i'm on drums) I like photgraphy as well. here's one with my Nikon DSLR. and cars. I sold my C5 vette when I left for med school. Now, I take care of my Honda with rare parts from Japan.
