Quick Q whats the diff bw pre-v and pre-a?

I received mine on Saturday morning, got QC pics last Sunday.

Any tips on doing this? It seems to be a hit or miss for me, using the ball, on a Luminor 44mm. Make we want to get the tool for it.

While I absolutely love the looks of a thick leather strap on a Pam, I'm planning on wearing some PAMs with suits and not all of my shirts are french cuff. I'm looking for 'skinnier' straps where i can use a smaller buckle, so it can actually slide under the sleeve. Any suggestions?
