  1. hmm...just had a quick look on the first pics posted by paul of this thread -

seems that mbk/producers did a shift from the colors on white model...

Are you able to post a close-up from the dial??

The "jumbo" or lets say 39mm model with the most silver-like looking color

is the new 15300ST from AP.

However from pauls pictures the white or silver dial does

also have a certain attraction ;)

But yes if you are talking about accuracy -

the older mbks where more white or off-white toned rather

    than reflecting silver.

Here are a few quick shots of my "White" dialed AP Jumbo.

  2. I think we are all deluding ourselves if we think that corporate agents from Rolex, LVMH, Richemont, Swatch Group and the rest are not well aware of exactly what our trusted "collectors" are up to. They would stop them if they could.

I would imagine that they periodically buy from them anonymously to gauge the quality.

In fact, I would not be surprised if they have even infiltrated this forum and the others.

The idea of someone strolling into an AD with a rep, and having it's repercussions blow the lid off our hobby is a little far fetched.

  4. I own 5 HBB reps, and I completely agree with detahoe's suggestion of dealer, as well as the exact two models he points out. It is generally accepted that Angus is the best dealer for an HBB.

The two models linked both have the HIGH BEAT 7750 (don't even THINK about getting an HBB with the low beat 7750 if you expect it to tell time), both have ceramic bezels, and you can get AR added for another 20 bucks (worth every penny).

I would also consider Hont as a dealer. He can get just about anything out there for the best price, but I'm not sure if he can add single AR to a Lite HBB for 20 bucks like Angus can.

    ......

Has anyone used Angus' add-on AR service? Is it Double AR? If so, how is the quality?

  5. I am new and looking around having bought several reps one of which is a Panerai. Now I want to have one on a metal and one on leather. I have the steel bracelet half shiny and half brushed next I want to buy a titanium one and put it on leather. Anyway the numbering system of these (111h, 164,024, 253) are driving me a little crazy. Without wasting anyone's time is there a simple chart that has size, movement, material, color etc. on it? Thanks in advance.

There is also this, which is more visual.

It doesn't have all of them, though
