  1. Thanks hmmm maybe I can fit the buckle on a 24/22 strap anyway.
  2. yeah But is the correct dimension 24/22 or 22/20?
  3. Lug width on this one is 24mm and buckle width is 22? Been thinking about buying this watch and to get this strap http://www.watch-band-center.com/watchstrap-p6889h1s38-Watch-band-Grand-Duk.html
  4. Ok thanks, sounds great. Will maybe go for the RG full ceramic, it's a really good price. Is the rotor engraved or stickers?
  5. Could anyone tell about the differences between these two All Black HBB. The movement is one but are there any more differences? And is the HBB from Asian7750 really full ceramic case? It is a really big price difference. http://www.jpc8118.com/hbfc10007-bang-black-ceramic-black-limited-7750-p-6605.html http://www.asian7750.com/cn/product_show.asp?big_pid=&ps_id=158&P_id=1570&ti= And could anyone tell if this is a full ceramic version: http://www.asian7750.com/cn/product_show.asp?big_pid=&ps_id=158&P_id=1569&ti=
  6. It's not working for me either (in Sweden). The same problem as for you.
  7. How much could I expect to pay for a service and graphite treatment of an AP ROO sec 12?
  8. I opened the watch but I couldn't find any obvious faults. I think the rotor was tightened enough because it couldn't be tightened more than it was but I didn't put that much power on it to avoid breaking anything. The rotor spinned very smooth and it didn't make that much noise when it was spinning around. The noise came when the rotor was moving back and forth in the same place and that was in the lower part of the movement. I couldn't see if the rotor was touching anything but it didn't look like it did that. Maybe it's just a case of lubcrication of the ball bearings on the rotor wheel as kronos twin said. Because it sounds like it is the rotor that makes the sound when it moves in a specific place. When the power reserv went out I couldn't make the watch start just by shaking it and I had to wind it 5-10 times and then it started to run again. Is that common with this modified 7750 movement? I have now ben using the watch for three days and it works perfect. It is just sometimes it makes these noises and it is when I shake my hand or maybe put my hand up side down and it is probably because the rotor moves back and forth in this specific place.
  9. That's too bad, because almost every quartz watch seems to have mineral crystal and if you wanna get a watch with an asian unitas 6497 movement all of those also seems to have mineral crystal. This AP ROO quartz should have mineral crystal and it seems to be pretty scratch durable if you look at the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVh3WiRqLNE...feature=related
  10. How scratch durable is the mineral crystal in those watches?
  11. I don't think I'm able to do any lubrication as I have never even opened up a watch before. I will open it up tonight and have a look if I don't can fix the problem then I have no other possibility then to send it away to someone.
  12. Ok, thanks for your input. I will try tonight to open it up and have a look inside. I will have to pull out the crown first before I open it up, right?
  13. I don't know exactly how to describe it. Maybe it is the rotor. It is some kind of metallic sound, scratching. The firts time I heard it I thought it was a screw loose inside the watch. How do you tighten the rotor? Maybe some good pics somewhere?
  14. Background story I ordered an AP ROO black dial from a dealer that was listed in this forum a few months ago but is no longer (I don't know why). The watch I wanted to get was an AP ROO with secs at 9 but with correct subdial positions (like the MBW). I e-mailed him a link to another watchdealer that had a watch like that because I couldn't get into his webshop to see if he had that watch. And I got a good price because he didn't have this watch in his shop. I paid and he sent the watch. When I got the watch it didn't work. And it was very noisy when I turned it around. The thing is that the watch really looked like an AP ROO secs at 12 but I just thought they had made a watch with secs at 9 with exactly the same dial as the secs at 12. I sent the watch back for repair and today I got it back. When I took it out of the box I could see that it was working but to my surprise it was a secs at 12. Really strange because it was the same watch i got the first time that was sent back but I had ordered and paid for a secs at 9 (paid 295 usd). The thing is that the watch is still noisy and I wonder what it could be? I don't wanna send it back to China one more time. Is it something that I maybe can fix by myself? Or should i send it to some watchsmith here in Europe? (read about a german guy). What do you guys think, can you give me some advices.
  15. Different watches. The other one is the MBW model secs at 9. The Volcano in this thread is the secs at 12 and the most accurate I think.
  16. Nice! Yeah where did you get the strap for the watch?
  17. Yea Maybe I will in the future
  18. Ok. I think it looks pretty cool but I don't know if I want a rep watch that doesn't look like any gen watch in the reality.
  19. Is this Shaquille O'neal AP a fantasy watch or does this version exist? http://www.watcheden.com/audemars-piguet-s...tch--25262.html
  20. I mean the rep AP ROO. Is that calf leather or gen croc hornback?
