  1. Great vintage look.
  2. 8 foot waves are projected to Hawaii today! Surf or take to high ground?
  3. Now I see the light. No worries Red, good luck on this one, but I might have to look into these in the future. One question. Most of these seem to only have up to 21,600. Do they work with 28,800's?
  4. Still breaking this in. Love it, just wish the bracelet had a micro-adjustment.
  5. Why drive a car when you can you can ride a horse? I'm just sayin' Red, your logic makes a lot of sense.
  6. @vlydog, MMMMMmmmmm Rye! Have you tried this: Until Prohibition New York was known for its rye whiskey. This feisty spirit was the basis for the legendary MANHATTAN cocktail, made famous by Jenny Churchill (Winston
  7. Very nice. I have caught the 3717 bug myself!
  8. Its all you Red! But can I ask why these seem to be more desirable than the new-fangled digital ones? Like the TYMC MTG's? Every WS I know has a Vibrograph even if they have a newer MTG. To me it reminds me of an old school "adding machine" vs a "Calculator/Computer". Curious.
  9. Color
  10. What are the odds, both of our watches are displaying THU 25
  11. I have been on an Armangnac kick lately:
  12. Welcome aboard. Hang on to your wallet, this can get addicting!
  13. @Ubi Keep it!
  14. @wwarren, yep Fireman II
  15. I am on it! Anyone else, lets get in touch to avoid a possible bidding war! Hell, I am REALLY on it, they are LOCAL!!!!!
  16. I just read the poll again. I think the wording is a bit confusing by attempting to interject your feelings in the questions. IMHO the poll should simply read: Yes - Sellers should be allowed to edit their sales threads at any time. No - Sellers should not be allowed to edit their sales threads.
  17. I am torn. It is nice to have the history and watch out for scammers. On the other hand, it is nice to remove, shall we say, incriminating evidence... (tin-foil hat) Maybe a compromise is in order, that either rolls them off / expires them (like Craigslist)...
  18. Thanks Chief, I figured. I am new to the IWC scene and loving it. BTW: Next AR run, I am sending you the crystal.
  19. So, I am a new excited IWC 3717 (rep) owner. The first thing I did was jump over to iwc.com to make some comparisons. Forgive me it this is old news, or crazy talk... Check this out. These images are from IWC's web site. Is it me or are the fonts slightly different between the Rose Gold, and Stainless. Thicker/Thinner. Look at the 11's and IWC text. Thoughts? Camera angle? Or is this good news for rep owners as these slight variances don't carry as much weight.
  20. +1 44 and down, unless the watch is thinner. The thinner the watch is, you can usually go a hair bigger. In my case I can get away with a SOH 46 (which is like 50mm including crown) but because it is thinner than say a 44 PAM or Steelfish, it wears just fine. Same is true with something like a PAM 183, bigger diameter but thinner.
  21. Lots of "little" mistakes that add up quick. However, to the cliches: You have to break a few eggs to make an omelet. Practice makes perfect.
  22. Incredible Hockey night! (I stayed away from this post to avoid spoilers). I wonder how much help it will be to team USA to have a day off to rest...???
