Ditto. Plus, if you want to go Gen Swiss ETA 7750, only the slowbeat A7750 hands are a direct swap. Going A7750 28.8 to ETA 7750 requires broaching the chrono second hand. IIRC.
Welcome.
No mass produced replica of the 6538 exists. Closest are some red triangle 6536 or 55xx's. This is where a DIY or Franken project comes in.
Enjoy,
As someone who had a semi-successful purchase from Hont.
Be informed, no PayPal or "regular CC" (hmmm site now shows Visa/MC). By the time you incur Western Union fees, etc, you might as well wait for our trusted cartel's to get a hold of these. Finally, it took almost a month after payment for the watch to ship. The watch received was, well, not to my standards.
YMMV....
As a follow up to this, there is one FYI/Issue with this solution.
The "cleaning wax" adheres very well, and if you attempt to wipe your watch with a cloth, you will transfer the wax from the bracelet to the crystal if you are not careful. Likewise, with long sleeves. I am constantly getting a film on the crystal from the wax. It does not hurt the crystal, but makes it look smudgy.
Quick follow up question on the crystal... Can the crystal be removed/installed with regular press WITHOUT having to remove the bezel?
On a side note, anyone every remove a Seiko bezel?
Thanks,
FWIW, I checked in with my friend who's camera I borrowed with similar frustration. Guess what, it was also the 75-300.
Thanks for this link Andei3000:
If someone grabbed my wrist/arm, they would on the ground faster than a 28,800 second.
I think what you did was fine. Sometimes the bigger the lie, the more believable. If that makes sense. By standing your ground and thrusting the watch upon him like you did-- probably took him by surprise. This guy was clearly a douchebag, so your fib is cool with me.
@Freddy333. You are not alone. I went through a very similar frustration back during the RWG Photo Contest that Lani put together. I attempted to use a borrowed Canon XTI with the exact same feeling/results.
I wound up going back to my ancient SD630 for Macro shots for the contest.
Great thread. Waiting for more experts to chime in.
The first disks are slightly easier, and the program flows as such. The payoff comes in the later upper body work outs. At least in my case.
Remember P90X is NOT for new/returning to working out people. There is actually a Fit Test you should take prior to starting.
In my opinion, if you can not do:
25 push-ups right now
1 pull/chin up
60 situps
Run 1 mile in under 9 minutes
-or- Bike 20 miles with relative ease
Then DO NOT jump into P90X. Start with something else.
You have to know when to show em', know when to hide em'.
Works both ways. I have had gens/good reps, actually open a few doors for me. I get great service and comps from a very nice, and hot, Japanese waitress at my local Sushi hang out because she likes my Daytona Rep.
Looking forward to this. Hope BK takes up the charge.
As far as the wait...Come on guys, it was well known that the SeaDweller would not be ready until September or later.
I am guessing a small operation like this needs to rely on pre-orders, and general interest before proceeding.
Good things come to those who wait, or so they say.
