  1. Very nice. My wife wears a Tutima UTC, amongst others.
  2. $1100 is a bit steep. I am thinking I could construct one out of the half dozen old Laptops I have laying around -- Sort of, turn a Laptop screen to face out, run Linux, and write a program to display the time as such.
  3. This is why everyone needs to oppose SOPA and PIPA. But alas, there is always straight to IP address. So if they start F*ing with DNS, we may find ourselves going to 213.133.111.nn instead of rwg.cc.
  4. I have to give him credit. In theory, he is safe, unless a claim comes against the patented crown guard (If Panerai still has it and its not expired). In the one photo you can just see the "I" in Panerai. Too Funny.
  5. Q.) Who makes the best Sub? A.) Rolex Congrats.
  6. Hands need removed and reset, simple as that.
  7. Good to hear. 22 seconds fast is not horrible. I have purchased new Seikos, and other higher end GEN ETA based watches that ran that fast out of the box.
  8. Now a days, yes. At least the ones from our trusted sellers. Sounds like you experience is with Canal Street junk. In fact some of the Rolex reps are actually heavier than a Gen Rolex. If you have never handled a Gen / Stainless Steel Rolex, you should, they are not as heavy as you would think. A friend of mine though a Gen 1680 Submariner on a 9315 bracelet was FAKE because it was light, and the bracelet rattled a bit.
  9. Nice to see you posting K. Sending positive thoughts your way. Here is to a better/successful 2012 for you and yours!
  10. Yep, and Cape Cod also works great for scratched (Netflix) DVD's or CD's.
  11. stormtrooper4, you can stop your macro now.... LOL
  12. So Gazilli and TA, think you can coordinate your posts when all the lurkers come out to play?

  14. Nice review! Real Swiss with Chinese GMT module? Doesn't the lowest common denominator rule come into play here? Since there really is no such thing as a "Swiss" ETA 2836-GMT, I fear this is simply a Chinese 2836. I would love to hear the Zigmeister's comments on this.
