  2. What I find interesting is that there are 35+ DLC and or PVD Rolex's on the Bay at the moment. I remember seeing 2 in the case at Tourneau. So, this makes me wonder if; 1.) Is anyone buying, and 2.) Will we end up with a surplus of discounted Black Rolex's in the years to come.
  3. Crazy poll. I was poking around eBay and was amazed by the amount of "Black" Rolex's. I also came across a few in Tourneau Las Vegas a few months ago. With companies like Time & Gems, Pro-Hunter, Project X etc, seemingly creating these, they "do exist". BUT in any given month, a PVD REP usually shows up here FS as well. I have yet to see one in the wild.
  4. Looks great on your wrist. Whats with the JUMBO Shipping box?
  5. Taking the original question one step further: Should the ONLY watches with larger holes for 2mm springbars be Submariners and Seadwellers?

    Good stuff farquar.
  9. I seem to recall Zigmeister and By-Tor had a good write up on this... I can't seem to find it though...
  10. I have a first Gen Shuffle "Pack of Gum" version. Mine plays in the correct order -or- randomly based on switch position. Your problem could be caused by an error in the "Playlist you are filling from". (Caused by the shuffle button in iTunes -or- by sorting the playlist previously.) Try this: 1.) Make a new playlist. 2.) MAKE SURE "SHUFFLE" icon is OFF in iTunes 3.) Drag the songs you want over - IN THE ORDER YOU WANT THEM 4.) Make sure NOT to "Sort" the playlist at any time. 5.) FILL iPod "FROM NEW PLAYLIST
  11. Feel better! Ask for Vicodin or Percoset for no pain. ;-)
  12. Very nice comparison. That GS really has a nice quality to I was only aware of Clark, may I ask where to find GS's? Thanks!

  17. Well that did not last long. The funny thing is this thin/small Daytona font does not emphasize the "flat A" enough to me, and from arms length I would have sworn just by looking at the Daytona Text it was a Re/Rep-Dial.
  18. Excellent post and watches. Valuable information for those of us heading down similar roads. I love that Sinn...
  19. This is the response to be expected by Orchi and some of his followers. They are way too hung up on what could be considered simple "aftermarket replacement parts". If Rolex won't support their customers/vintage models, I think it is great that these parts are in the wild. I don't see him throwing a fit over Clarks crystals or the dozens of "aftermarket bezel inserts" which seem perfectly legal. The larger problem is because of Rolex's business practice, people will get screwed when these cases are passed off as 100% original.

That would be the True Religion. See my post above. (I love seeing them on my hot female neighbor, but not so much on guys) As for the $200 Jean comment, It is not unlike a nice watch. Also, a way for [women] or other fashion conscious people to size you up. It helps the girls pick out what guys will spend the most money on them. (Joking, sort of..., ). As we have become a more 'casual' dressing society, I think this is just another way of setting yourself apart from the standard Levi/Gap mass market jeans. (Nothing wrong with Levi's)... Chief, Diesel has all kinds of cuts and styles, but their Web site is a PITA to navigate. If you hit the web site just go to the store link as it is easier to see the different styles. I also have to agree with Ubi, these Jeans are built very well. Safe to say you can get YEARS out of them instead of one season. As an xLevi guy and Calivn guy as well, these should last twice as long. YMMV.

  22. Congrats on the new watch and getting it taken care of. Watch looks awesome. I "HAD" a MTM Spec Ops for about a week before the bezel allen screws fell out, and developed a bracelet issue. I fought like hell and sent it back for a full refund. Hopefully you won't need that warranty. Sweet looking watches, but their "Military Marketing Claim" seems a little exaggerated. I would sooner go into battle with a Seiko. (Clarification: I am not trying to poo-poo MTM, your watch looks awesome, but I am just backing up your QC claims having had one. "Looks" come first IMHO from a MTM perspective, then Quality)
