Datewheel on the black dial should be green numbers. The green dial should have gold writing and seems to be the more accurate of the two.

yes the green one is more accurate I believe. I have that one.

Another reason is that the green one have the black date, which is correct. The black one has a black date, while its supposed to be green

I realy like the white dial with blue accents but the question is are any of these dials really accurate? I know the RB2 isn't even close.

All of the watches I have received from him are fine (got about 10 maybe). except the top gun 'star' was smudged on this one.

But Im not gonna send it back to him. I did let him know though.

It is your choice if you do not want to deal with him, I fully understand that you are dissapointed. I am sure there are others that might be able to provide the QC that you need.

For me personally, I know these are reps and things like that happens. Defects can be found on gens too, although not as often..

the important thing for me is how the dealer takes care of me AFTER the sales. Problems can occur..but how we solve it is more important IMHO.

Can't blame the marketting department for sure. If the demand is there, why not make it?

I just think that if they have a special edition of everything they will dilute the uniqueness of owning a special edition AP.

On luxury bazaar alone, there are 46 variations of AP ROO limited editions, If I am not mistaken, And IMO that is too much.

But since we are talking reps...I say that is a good thing...because there are so many variations, a bit of flaw here and there will make it less noticeable, because you will almost never meet a person that own the model, and even if you do, they probably will not be familiar with the other 45 models (unless an AP manager)

very very close to gen. I am not sure about the other models but the sequentiel chrono rep is very good.

The RG AP ROO only comes with the rubber bezel, apart from the limited editions. Gen msrp are close to $40k.

I have not seen the rep yet, but i have the rubberclad SS and the rubber bezel seems fine to me.

I also have the UN MMD RG. fantastic watch too. apart from minor things(to me) like the date cyclops, rotors and the screw.

HBB- I was looking at it but it was too expensive compared to the others and I chose the AP. the gen followed (copied) AP ROO's style, if I am not mistaken. I am interested in the all back though.

I had the white one with the blue sub dial, bought it at the same time as the volcano. had the rubberclad too..oh and the gold on is on the way...lol..

If the pics showed it with pics like that, then the leather will be orange.

He told me to wait before I purchased my AP volcano because the strap will be out in orange. I didn't bother waiting because most likely, I will change the straps anyway

my AP navy comes with the blue leather. so not all of them are in black.

I'm happy with the color of the gold on my watch- but I don't have a gen to compare it to.

I went the cheap route because Andrew and Josh have the same watch with the purported ETA, but who can be certain these days. So far the asian 21j has be right on. Haven't opened up the case back yet to look at the movement. My preference for asian 21j's is the one from PTS Resources with the WO symbol under the balance wheel- same one that Ofrei and Cousins sell.

This sight is Andrew's economy site- run by a guy named Andy. Good service and they take credit cards which is easy. The watch is fairly accurate, IMO. It has the yellow datewheel, and the gens that I've looked at recently had the white datewheel. Other than that, everything else looks good to me.

I liked the black dial, but I've been told that it is not that accurate (small thing though). so I bought the green dial (ceramic), and also I want something unique so green is fine.

the date is supposed to be green on the black dial, while on the rep, the date is black. that is all I think.

what color dial are you purchasing?

AP ROO is nice, but not my type of wrist gear. I'm not really feeling that look with the screws or lugs around the dial.

what about dewitt? Josh has quite a few of them. Very accurate and very classy.

what about AP ROO? black dial SS with black leather. Pretty sporty and classy at the same time.
