  1. Wll, the PO 42mm in the photo looks like mine and it is great! No complaints whatsoever. Had my watchmaker resize it though, since I read it can be tricky. Hefty, keeps great time! Has the typical non UPO markings...HE valve at 1o, bracelet has the Professional word enscribed on the clasp, hands not longer...but sapphire and seems double AR coated. For that price, I would buy it!
  2. Congrats on your regulating the 42mm! That is quite phenomenol!! for a regular 21j Chinese movement! Don't know exactly what movements are in my two 42s but they are accurate enough for me not to worry about them. The black bezel version seems to have a longer reserve time than the orange, though I have never tested either more 'scientificallly'.
  3. Since the UPO is automatic and not quartz, 5-10 seconds a day is quite respectable IMO. The watch can be regulated if you so choose (usually there is a regulating lever inside with a +/- .......) but your UPO seems to be normal, ETA or Chinese better quality movements included. Seiko autos, for instance, are considered good within 12 seconds loss/plus in 24 hours.
  4. haha! so true...ever since Connery left, it hasn't been the same....but I still love the movies! ...or a black James Bond! hahaha! a Rastafarian Bond? no? haha! Daniel Craig does a good job IMO....
  5. :p hahahahaha! pretty well sums it all up! hehehehe!
  6. Agree with on your points, R, and I for one am happy with both 42s, black and orange bezel versions.... :D
  7. ...then how about this silver DB9 and the black bezel PO42mm?
  8. Love the A. Martins so just made this photo up today.....
  9. John, I ordered the orange strap with deployant along with the orange bezel 42mm model from my friend in Hkong who went into mainland China watch district and found both items for me.....
  10. Hi Dennis! As you are finding out, the $100 rep PO is basically inferior now. My suggestion is to contact our man in HKong and give him your requirements. I think you would be paying around $195.00 for a UPO type, since his last info to me. Still, he is close to the source and can pretty well verify its quality for you. The only question is ...do you want to spend around $200 or more for a rep??? Robbie G has good advice!...in other words, if you really are committed, buy the higher quality item....
