  1. I owned a gen 49 for about 6 months...loved it, but ended up traded it for a gen Exp II (smaller profile). I miss it. My husband is a big Pam fan as well. He has owned a gen 90, 88, I don't remember the other 2. He recently purchased Josh's 210H and loves it just as much as his gens. I am sure he will also purchase a rep Fiddy in the near future and I'll probably purchase a rep 49. Once you wear one, you just "get it". Beautiful, simple watches with a nice history.
  2. Yes, but right now this is your suggestion and not policy. I think it is a good suggestion...now go do the work to make it policy.
  3. I agree. I'm still a newbie, but I am a newbie who has already purchased 4 watches, and have about 5 more on my hot list. I'm not dumb enough to write "replica watch" on a customs form, but I did have to think about exactly what I should write when I sent my PP24 back to River. I wrote "birthday gift" in the item line, but the form asked for further description. For a minute, I had to think about what should be written in the description box. Is there a sticky somewhere with tips on mailing items back to the dealers?
  4. I DEFINITELY understand the male fascination with women. I am a blonde Barbie-doll...I did some light modeling through and after college, and have been on TV here and there. Even at 37, I still look ok (Birdman knows me...he'll tell ya). I have been the object of...fascination or whatever...most of my adult life. Certainly not complaining about it...I have rather enjoyed the attention! I think that posting a woman masturbating ON A WATCH SITE goes beyond fascination. I think there is a difference between posting nudity (which is not porn) and posting an act (which is porn). Hormones may play a role in your behavior, but it doesn't mean you need to have bad judgment. Like I said on a previous post, I don't have a problem with most of the avatars. Nudity is cool. Maybe I should have a naked man as my avatar...
  5. Sad, isn't it? I don't even have a picture posted! I could be 5'2" and 300 lbs...of course, some ppl might be into that... BTW Pug, How YOU doin??????
  6. I am one of the few ladies on this board and in general, I do not find the avatars offensive...with the exception of the blonde girl masturbating. That one is just classless. Tells me a lot about his view on women. It would be nice to see less nudity, but I don’t want to be the Mom or the prude of the group… I am here for the watches and am quite enjoying learing about and acquiring reps. Matter of fact, I like my reps as much as my gens! Some of the members DO consider this a dating forum…I have received a few PM’s from members with stupid pick-up lines or “how YOU doing”.
  7. The CZs used in my Masterpiece from Josh are virtually indistinguishable from the real diamonds on a real Pearlmaster. The stones are just too small to tell the difference. Larger stones are easier to spot...there are visual differences between CZ, diamond and moissanite (another diamond imitator) that are distinguishable to a trained eye. Although, with the colored CZs and the diamond-like coated CZs these days, it is getting harder and harder to tell the difference!
  8. In general I don't think you can tell the difference between the gen diamond dial and this "diamond" dial.
  9. Here is the replacement! Stones are good, service and shipping is top notch! River is excellent and I am a happy customer! ...and with the rest of the collection: gen DJ, gen Omega, rep PP and rep Masterpiece
  10. This arrived on Saturday...LOVE it!!! Excellent service and a great dealer! ...and the rest of the collection. Rep PP, gen Omega, gen Datejust
  11. Admittedly, I am a LV and a Gucci snob, and as a result I am pretty good at the rep vs gen ID for those 2 brands. I don't know anything about Birkin reps... wish I did though! The Birkin I want is about 10 grand and hubby cringed at my 1500 Gucci "daily beater". Ouch! Can't imagine how he would react over a bag that would cost as much as his dream Fiddy! I have never owned a rep bag, but would probably buy an exact Birkin rep if I could find one.
  12. Some of those bags look great, some use the acutal eluxury picture, and some are way off. Just like comparing reps, compare the rep bag to the real bag on eluxury...pay particular attention to the placement of the LV logos and number, make sure the logos end where they end on the gen, and look at the interior and hardware.
  13. I make jewelry, so it wouldn't be impossible for me to reset one stone if necessary. The stones are placed with glue...not difficult because I can use the others as a guide. However, lining them all up would have been an awful project and just not something I would be willing to do for a new watch. Maybe I am too picky, but I don’t care if I make a 200 dollar purchase or a 2000 purchase, I do expect good service and a great product. I am sure the next one will be very nice and the stones properly set.... although I am a little sad because I am going to Mexico on Friday and was planning to wear the PP. Hopefully, Joshua’s Rolex will arrive on time. I don’t like to take my gens while on vacation. I had a Rolex Pres and a costly diamond ring stolen from a hotel safe once.
  14. You can see the "drunk" stones if you enlarge my first picture. I mailed it back yesterday and I sincerely hope the replacement will have straight stones! I asked River to pick the best watch that he has in stock...I don't care which color dial because I like all three. It wouldn't have bothered me so much if just one stone was slightly crooked, but most of the stones were crooked on this watch. On another note, I ordered a Pearlmaster Masterpiece from Josh a couple of days ago. From the pictures, I can't see a difference between the gen and the rep other than the stones on the gen look larger..of course, the gen is 18K and the rep is SS. Can't wait! I have a couple of gen Rolex watches and a gen Omega Constellation Quadra, but these are really fun to throw into the mix.
  15. Right off the bat, the LV pattern across the top of the Eb-y bag is incorrect. Also, the overall shape of the bag is wrong: the gen is a bit more of an "A" shape.
  16. No, I have actually never purchased a rep purse, but I have several girlfriends who have purchased from that site. They look to be great bags and very accurate.
  17. England Greece France Switzerland Italy Austria Australia Mexico
  18. BTW, the one you posted is a bad rep. Not even close to accurate!
  19. six star replicas supposedly has the best rep bags.
  20. Over 100K is a Porsche Carrera GT At 100K is a Mercedes SL 550 Under 100K is a Mercedes CLK
  21. Yes, I know...the photos stink for a few reasons. 1) The photography is sub-par and 2) No T&A. I will work on both... Received my PP 24 from River today. Shipping and customer service is top notch. I think the watch arrived within 3 days of my order. It has a very solid feel and is comfortable on the wrist. If the "diamonds" on the dial were better aligned (they are a bit crooked), I would rate this watch as "as good as it gets". Other than the misaligned stones on the dial, it is a dead ringer for my neighbor's gen PP24. Thanks River! I am happy with the transaction!!! Now, I want a Yachtmaster. I sold my gen about 6 months ago and have been regretting it ever since....
  22. Welcome from another newbie... I am beginning to think I need to make my avatar a bit less conservative
  23. He isn't into Nascar either, but we own a black Porsche.
