Hi mate, don´t understand your question. I also wasn´t a 005 fan, but bought the 318 and think is really incredible for 200$. See all reviews comparing it with the gen, and then you´ll understand. If you don´t like the BB engraved on the CB, that is another thing, but it really gives it an exclusive aura to the watch. Much better than the open CB with that horrible movement.

The problem I find with this factory straps is that you can´t order one at a specific size...... It´s always 115/75 and shut up! Love the texture on this one L!

Hi Greek, so having problems with your new baby..... Like Lobster says, have it service by a local rep friendly watchsmith, but before you need to do some numbers: maybe is better to buy a new 6497 beating at 21600 bph wich is not as noisy as the 18000 bph. Search in Getat and other places the possibility to buy one. I think that for 40-70$ range you can have a new quieter movement. For me is the only mod needed to that watch.

Gen 318L has a 18000 bph movement, so do the rep. Gen 005 has a 21600 bph but the rep is the same as the 318. The only ´but´ for me is it´s quite noisy....

Never worn it, but seen one from a colleague and it's not chunky. The prob is that I compare it with the ROO and see it simple and small. But I have big wrists!

What about AP Royal Oak? Don't know much about these models, but think they are smart. Non chrono and very easy models.
