  1. i bought some from bergies. The h belt leather is superb and great quality same as the box and belt pouch, the metal buckle is also great quality possibly very very similar to genuine. One remark!. I found the buckle a bit small for my taste yet I'm not sure if its the same size as gen. IMO buy one before the trend ends lol Off the topic, i also bought a beautiful "carbon fiber" leather look a like belt........Do Not Buy, the clasp that holds the belt and buckle is very weak, since the belt is cut to size it, what holds the belt from the buckle is very very weak.
  2. Lately i have been wondering in what is the creme de la creme replica till this day. Im not and expert on reps, but i have owned reps from most of our reputable dealers for almost a 10 years. Ive had some recent reps which i have worn on the daily for some time and have that gen feeling, quality and durability. Like i learned back in the day that a 500M diver watch is not just a number that measures how deep it can go, it mostly means how durable and well built it is, made to last a lifetime. Which do you guys think are those up to date all star reps???
  3. trevor looks good, check him out in the bottom of his watch rep page
  4. after a week or so of daily use, i gotta say: strap: got the hang of it, takes some time to mold into your hand casing and crystal: tough, i have constant dings here and there and even normal contact with desks and stuff. many reps and even gens ive had can show quick signs of wear and scratches even in alleged sapphire crystals with ar coating. movement: I'm not an expert but i have done my noobie test. 7:00am set my watch, same as digital iPhone hour. Afer work at night exactly at 8:00pm, check both and time is pretty much at 8:00pm also. So i guess its good time keeping, compared to cheap reps that loose 5-10 mins every 24 hrs. Noise is still the same, but i have gotten used to it, sounds rough on the inside. As for date changing, it has also felt rough at times and sometimes it won't grab correctly as upward changes mon-sun and downward is numerical. In the end it aligns correctly which is my biggest concern. I am working on the top gun logo this week, ill give u guys a follow up. As for servicing, it seems very pricey but it might make this rep a 5 star rep on my collection.
  5. Ebay guy salesthem 280 w/o bucckle or pin, those are 130 lol very overpriced
  6. first! The chrono does work, i have to push aaaaalll the way but it works. But then again, i have thought, sell or not sell it. Got an estimate to service the noisy rotor, comes to $250 and a good 2 month of wait The gen strap is a good $400+, yet i have tried to mold the strap onto a cushion and it has been shaping up, so its not that bad now The logo problem I'm gonna seek some advice lol i think I'm gonna keep it if i can personally fix the logo one question, does servicing/oiling the watch make a big difference?
  7. To be pretty honest towards the watch, i was expecting more. First the side logo, it looks horribly painted, that i will fix myself. Second, the rotor noise, its pretty loud and raunchy, i will have to get it serviced and oiled Third, the chrono pushers don't work, thats what is most disappointing after paying $300+ for a watch Fourth, Strap, don't get me wrong it looks good, but its an uncomfortable wear, ill have to search for the gen if possible Overall the watch is looker, but i don't feel I'm getting the bang for the buck as i have gotten on noob pams, follies and two or three more watches that i have acquired. btw pardon my ignorance, but a 7750 movement is suppose to have working chrono right??
  8. What do you guys think??? just arrived, i have mixed thoughts on it, i will post later. btw, is this movement suppose to have a working crhono?
  9. Hi, first of all thanks in advance for the tips and advice as this has been my go to place for replica buying for plenty of years and years to come. All you guys know your stuff and all the advices have resulted in great watches. Couple of month ago i pulled the trigger on the 111 from pure and besides the loosen screw, the watch is great, seriously great watch. Now I'm looking for an IWC which i have been looking for some time. My first choice straight of the bat has been the Top Gun. I have heard and read that toros is the man for the watch. Looking at his shop i saw the German, also a great looker and white, never had a white dial. What are your opinions on my next pick???? is the quality on both same? Is Toro the go to guy? The German(the second hand is truly unique, love the details) Gen in the pic!!! http://www.torobravos.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=56_133&product_id=187 Top Gun V3 (simply kick ass) GEN IN PIC!!! http://www.torobravos.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=56_133&product_id=531
  10. Rolex black sub from ttk the 11660 i think Cartier pasha seatimer black from andrew Rolex daytona black an red from josh Bvlgari rettangolo from silix (horrible rep) Cartier pasha silix Tag heuer link chrono black All of those are from back of 2006 or older, all are dead/sold except the sub New 2012 111 pam noob! (waiting for it) + 2 gen tags, and a nixon (kick ass)
  11. love this blue one, but my vote is for the omega
  12. Are store jewelers 99% of the times more expensive than online shops?
  13. I have been browsing the internet to buy a genuine watch online, but i have a couple of questions. Should i really buy a gen online? compared prices to local or tourist area jewelers are far apart are they good for guarantee as they state? any catch? are the prices too good to be true? what are your thoughts
  14. Im going for omega. Tried today the tags but it did not shine or felt as expected. Although got tempted to buy an aquaracer 500M quartz on blue with ss bracelet originally $2,100 usd now for $1,300 final price.( sells for 1,500-1,900 online) Not bad right?
  15. I meant on basic version, the LM has 2-3 more markings but everything else is pretty similar
  16. Im 90% on the omega, possibly heading to the dealer this weekend. The dealer informed me that has to be factory ordered as it so limited and rare to see in stores. If there are still some available the watch is going for $4,600 duty free here. Although the factory reminds that the watch can take to arrive from 3 weeks to 3 month, wich is kind of rare. I have heard that since the watch is soo similar to the regular PO the extra fee is not worth. But then again, i guess 30 years from now or my next generation/son will have a pretty rare and possibly more valuable watch right?
  17. where can i find a liquidmetal omega? btw check this vid out regarding liquidmetal technologies
  18. The liquid metal is really tempting me so far. As for reps, i have a 111 noob coming my way from pure, im pretty eager to wearing it, yet my faith is kinda low since from 2004-2007 i made a couple rep purchases like the sub from htk, cartier seatimer, daytona from andrew and josh and even a bvulgari and must 21 from silix. Unfortunately all of them were unreliable in a major way like bad timekeeping and loose dials and links (got rid of most watches). I hope these new noob factories restore my faith in reps so i can revive my collection.
  19. loved that liquid metal, gotta put it on the list
  20. i love the looks on this baby, i actually own a 2000 professional, but its a bit outdated, although in 10 years on daily use, it has been a flawless watch in every way possible. THEN AGAIN!, as time passes by, a man has to up his game and spend a bit more right? these are my temptations Im attracted to this baby YET, i can neeeeever go wrong with a classic timepiece, hurts the pocket, but its a champions watch, from castro, to stallone, to james bond. at the end of the day im looking for a new watch i can wear day to day, i want it to be my cup of coffee, cant run without it btw, how much a gen sub rollie going for these days?
  21. The rollie idea sounds nice, any trusted sites where i can find one? In my country finding one would be really hard
  22. Im buying a gen watch this month, i have a 5k budget, but im not sure wich one since i originally wanted a tag aquaracer 500M chrono, but i have seen some bad reviews lately on the net regarding quality and service. Im thinking on going for a omega or make a small leap to the rolex sub or maybee a cartier. Any recommendations? Or opinions on gen tags
  23. http://servingnotice.com/fh/ got this one as pop up looking for a puretime coupon lol , this does not concern me right?
  24. bit out of topic, is the a difference between the 111M and 111N
