I love this photo, Ubi!

I had the same project in mind with a rep 3706. Unfortunately, the gen dial is too small for the rep case.

Watchwoot is actually listed in the Links section under dealers.
You should know by now...only buy from trusted sellers. Who is watchoot and how can you be sure they will stand behind what they sell and how can you be sure exactly what you are getting? There are quite a few versions of this watch. I sugget that you buy from Trusty the latest version with an asian clone eta movement.

A sexy woman with a leopard print bag and shoes?

Awesome work, Brightight!
When I finally assemble mine, I'll post pics to the forum as well. You have been a great help and I've enjoyed our Franken Datejust chats very much!
Wear it in good health!

I have a Jaeger LeCoultre catalog that's in English and white hardbound. Its from 2002/03. I have catalogs by many watch makers: IWC, Rolex, JL, Chronoswiss, Glashutte, Union Glashutte, Nomos, Dubey & Schaldenbrand, Panerai, Omega, Zenith, Fortis, Sinn. They are all fun to get in the mail! All from many different years.
Patek catalog, huh?

Damn. I was fooled.
These are photos of the gen.
There's not going to be a rep.
At least I posted some nice photos.

Hey, jockl1978. Thanks for letting me know that the gen dial is too small for the rep case.

Place looks like a dump!

Hmmm...same photos. I'm wondering now if this rep really exists.
Let me find out more info.

A rep of the Zegg & Cerlati Top Gun is already in the Asian market. Check out my thread here.

Its sounds like you depressed the stem release button too far down, bending it and displacing the winding wheel and castle gear. Then, when you tried to reinsert the stem, it knocked these pieces out of their positions. You would need to have the dial removed to put these parts into their proper positions so the stem can be correctly inserted.
Next time, try using a blowdryer on your watch instead of taking it apart.

The LCD module is totally wrong. Its incapable of showing Mission Elapsed time, which is what the X-33 was all about.
-
Can this take a gen dial and tachymetre insert to fix the blatant errors?
-
The rep's movement looks more suited to rep'ing the Speedmaster Reduced model since the dials are so far apart.

Why not just get a 3717?

Feet at 7:30 and 2:30 fit the 16000 series and 16200 series.
Its this one. I dated it to be from 1980.

That scared the hell outta me! Touch

I just received my Rolex Datejust dial and would like to know more about it. It has the name 'SINGER+SINGER+SINGER' engraved across the back. I know the 'T Swiss T' means Tritium and I think this designation was used up until around 1985(?). The tritium (which has a half-life

I would like a 356 Flieger, please.

Rule of thumb for me: If the franken is around 2/3rds of the gen's cost, then buy the gen.
