just imagine the old fat guys that travel to Thailand
for only one reason - cheap young pussies ... and you get the idea

Frank, the Josh 5513 is not really an option I think, those CG's always look too stumpy no matter what mod.
AFAIK it can't take a gen dial because of the oversized rehaut.
But would you say the old MBW 5513's are better than the new ones?
Cheers
the rehaut on Joshs case is perfect - a gen dial should fit -
i would not say that the new MBWs are worse or better - but they require more work - you have to take a lot of material on both sides of the case on
top of the usual work.
cheers,
Frank

I'm glad of that clarification - its a very confusing area.
Makes me wonder if I should sell my MBK 5513 and buy a Josh version, which is at least low beat.
this makes no sense after all the mods the MBW is better - but for the price Joshs is unbeatable -
i would get a modern 5513 MBW and vintage 5512 Josh

old MBW refers to the classic 1680s (which where basically 5513s) and SDs
the newer MBKs are the 5513/5512s - the cases are too fat and require a lot of work to get them right - but they have still 1:1
construction -
and after a lot of work the best option for the $$ - but a lot of works means complete overwork of the middle case - hours of work.
the JOSH case btw is nicer and more correct to gen sprecs than the new MBW 5513 case expect for the CGs .... which can be fixed up
pretty good and easy.
you can try Yuki - but the price is too crazy imho and you newer know what to expect.

Is that Yuki's solid midlink bracelet? How is it compared to the PT?
it has hollow middle links - i did not get PTs yet.
@Omega : fine tuning ? tell me more - im open for suggestions

Frank, really stunning build. Many congrats. Looks amazing on the bracelet, but there is also something about the leather that I like!
Was the Gen movement hard to find?
i got lucky on VRF

you mean both of them? is there any additional info like "best" or "ultimate", or is the ex just the standard model that is available at our trusted dealers?

all in all nice watches for the money - Super Lume
and good to go out of the box.
both are are little better than the old discontinued Noobfactoy versions.
the weak points i see on the Ex :
- some minor flaws on the dial - esp the Swiss Made placement.
- solid middle links on the bracelet
- CGs are slightly off
on the SD:
- bracelet is crappy - it arrived with broken SEL - never saw this before - waiting for replacement.
- crown is crappy and need to be replaced - also the pearl in the insert.
- CGs missing some Material on the top makes them look a little short on some angels.
and the pixxs :
cheers,
Frank

anyone looking for a gen 295 ? i just got a brand new one
-
I have a 2.7mm gasket that I need to try, but i do not know how to remove the gasket from the crystal without breaking it
its just a white plasic ring - should not break
How difficult is it to do the crystal swap? What tools did you use?
you can find the construction somewhere here :
http://www.rwg.cc/topic/77782-my-euromariner-is-done/
case-opener, screw diver and crystal press is the minimum

got my Yuki bracelet today - MUCH better than expected - feels great !
cheers,
Frank

it looks much better - 2,95 would be perfect
sadly that also proofs that the TC bezel is too fat.
