Awesome!
Yes, how did you make it?
-
Thanks, fellows!
@mjmurphy: that look was obtained by painting the dial with Fernovus spray paint, the same used to protect outside iron objects from stain and scratches.
Also the brown dials of the other two gold watches are painted with a spray paint of the same line, but the "sandy" effect looks much more evident with the gray paint than with the brown paint.
All the watches are fully relumed with Superluminova. But this one is 50% C1 + 50% C3 on the dial, and 100% C1 on the hands, while the other twos are 100% C3 on both the dial and hands.
Next steps on all: double AR coat and improved cyclops (the golden Luminor already has them).
I also have a project running for improved datewheels for the Asian auto, but I don't know what will come out in the end.

Cyborg,
the DSN cyclops on his new auto models, like the cyclops on new auto PAMs from other collectors and genuine PAMs, is a recessed cyclops embedded in a sandwich crystal. Trying and replacing is is asking for troubles. Your best option is to live with it until a better cyclops will be designed and produced, then to swap the whole crystal+cyclops ensemble. In the end, it's all but bad.
About the dial: it is ok. Also in the gen those parts are white-green, while the other parts are white. If you are afraid that the white-green parts are too green, just think about the lume tolerances on the gen too.
DSN 088 is one of the best auto PAM dial around, probably the best. I bet that even a paneristi would not notice any differences.

I am in agreement with what folks have said above. At that price and with an A T dial and arrow PR hand it is probably a safe bet. I would also guess it goes up in value. Box and papers would be nice. I would point out one issue which is always the case with PVD watches, Presumably the PVD is in good shape so you are going to have to be extra careful when wearing it as you can always polish out an SS ding but not a PVD scratch. Of course this only matters if you ever think you will sell it later on in life. I do love the watch and best of luck. If I had the money it is one of 2-3 PAM's which would be at the top of my list.
Kruzer already said everything I was going to say.

Awesome watch, and the cyclops looks perfect. Almost zero reflections.
I may guess what a long way it was to get to this excellent result. Congrats to everyone involved!

I want to but I dont know how and dont hv tools
You may try with strong adhesive tape.
If this does not work, or if it ruines the dial background, then fully repainting the dial in black is not too difficult as the minifiddy's dial is a sandwich dial.
You "just" have to separate the two layers of the dial, dip the upper layer in acetone until it is clean, then repaint it with matte black spray paint.
Then obviously put the two layers together once again with a few small glue drops.
Btw, this is also a good occasion to relume the inner layer if you want.
You can see a result on a radiomir with brown paint instead of black here.
Unfortunately I have no special suggestion for you about a 024.

Even if I am constantly concerned about the daylight readability of phantom PAMs, I love them and I think your project is awesome, go for it!
Keep the matte PVD look, no shining allowed here.
In my opinion, a seconds subdial would also make it more original.

The new auto PAM, both by DSN and Josh/Andrew etc, have a recessed cyclops embedded in a sandwich crystal, like the gen.
This prevents from the ability to replace the cyclops.
The only way to have it perfect would be that the manufacturers design a perfect cyclops, like OP did. So far they designed and made an almost-perfect, still not perfect, cyclops.
Also, there is a chance that OP used aspheric cyclops in order to lessen cushion distortion that arise from great mag power. In this case, the cyclops alone would cost about as much as the whole rep.
There is nothing that applies to any PAM with a cyclops, as some PAMs have the abovesaid recessed cyclops, other don't, some have an additional small lens embedded in the date window, other don't, etc...

I had a mail from them on friday for a set. 45

Yes, usually C3, but C1 (or a C1+C3 mix) on watches that look white in lume.
But... did rcTritec resume on selling kits? I was unable to find their kits again on their website a while ago, so I supposed they were now selling SL only in larger quantities.

Unfortunately, Lello sort of retired. But if you want to have a try, then PM me and I'll give you his email.
I just keep hope to get him back on making datewheels one day...

If the stem fragment that remained attached to the crown is long enough, heating usually works. You need to get the crown really hot.
A soldier iron is the best way to apply heat.
Heating the crown only, and keeping the stem chilly (e.g. by freezing the crown+stem ensemble before applying heat, and holding the stem with frozen pliers) may help.
Also keeping the crown+stem dipped in a debonder for a couple of days may help.

24 are polished bezel if with the 6527 case, i.e. A series and part of B series.
But why don't you just erase unwanted text from a minifiddy dial?

THE TOP absolutely!
Congrats, even if congrats are an understatement.
(... just, two Angelus movements are too much for one single person...

Awesome watch!
I doubt that is C3. Unless of poor white balance in the pic, it rather looks C1.
Which is quite accurate to the model.

Oh well, I love both the cufflink and the watch... even if a gold blackseal is something to call revenge for...
The only thing I am unsure about is the shirt.

Wow, great!
And yes, I too wonder about the lever roller...

Also, I seem to remember a few CG for sale from members here and on other forums recently.

Too much is barely enough.
I think that no lesser words can tell it so precisely.

I agree, impressive. A nice mix between technology and use of human resources.
And as a Tai Chi long time practising, I've been especially impressed with that part.

Certainly there are no clubs for owners of fakes. No comraderie among fellow owners. No sharing of tips, tricks and performance issues. No assistance with operation, warranty or repair issues.Fake buyers are on their own with nobody to carenobody to help and nobody to compliment or encourage themexcept for the occasional person you might encounter that doesn't know enough about watches to realize you are trying to 'impress' them with a cheap counterfeit.
Oh my!
That made my day!
Thanks, JBond!

The rep makers have seemed to have completely dropped there interest in producing Panerai reps all together.
Well, some new reps keep coming out -- e.g., the 287 and 292.
But surely not at the same pace as two years ago.
I think that the rep makers are scared at repping the Manifattura movements.

Hi buddy, I am happy to see you got your holy grail and it brought you back to the active rep world!
Thanks for the excellent review. It looks an exceptionally accurate rep -- as in Watchompo's tradition.
How does it feel to be the only one in the world to own such a rep?![:D](https://rwg.cc/datastore/emoticons/emoticons/default_biggrin.png)
Really congrats! Wear it well, in good health, and rich.![:)](https://rwg.cc/datastore/emoticons/emoticons/default_smile.png)
