  1. Thank you surfer! That's the ticket right there! You'll be the first to see pics of my own cali radiomir fantasy of fantasies!

Great, thanks! I really love fantasy projects.

Hmmm hi, im also doing a similar project but the thing is i think the minifiddy is a 45mm pam, so it carries a 45mm dial (hence the radiomir dial print) which would exactly fit the rad case, so technically the 44mm pam dials would be smaller...

As soon as I have time I'll test the minifiddy dial on a standard 44mm luminor case too. Keep tight.

  2. Ok, I tried exatly a minifiddy dial into a blackseal case, which is pretty a standard 45mm radiomir case.

    It fits.

As expected, it is even a tiny bit loose -- about 1/3mm in every direction, I would say.

Once the dial is mounted on the movement, and the movement fastened to the case by a good spacer ring, this should be no problem.

  3. Don't expect the look of double AR. Single AR is very subtle. Reflections from the crystal's inner side only account for about 25-30% of the whole reflection, so you are not going to get any stunning effects.

The best effect of single AR is erasing reflections from the cylops. If your watch is dateless, it is pretty unworth.

Still, as you are asking about single side AR I assume you are interested in a PAM.

Single side AR is the one of genuine PAMs.

So, if it is real AR and not just a blue tint, at $20 you may go for it even on a dateless watch.

  4. Congrats, V.!

I took part on these auctions on past times, but I got constantly overbidded so I gave up.

Now you got my holy grail and you proved me it is possible in the end.

    Has it even small seconds?

May I ask which was the winning bid?

  5. For the "T" work, I actually use a black oiler

    OH MY!

Painting with a black oiler!!! :o

(Folks, to those of you who are not acquainted with this, a black oiler is far thinner than an insuline needle, it's just a thin metal hair, its tip scratches anything it comes to touch).

I cannot think anything more difficult, this means even mastering surface tension...

After nano-technology, we have nano-art here.

  6. @DemonSlayer: R, rodico is on sale by cosusinsuk. They should be not far away from you.

    And, honestly, rodico works incredibly.

@guanaco: a specific tool to clean hands & other parts is a leather or fabric buff stick very like the one mentioned by Logan. In Italian language it is called "cabrone", I don't know its name in English. Have a look here:
