  1. Hi, I know it's a old thread, but I just wanted to add this gen pic. I think the rep look pretty nice.
  2. This is the one of the best threads I have read in a long time. There's so many aspects of the Daylight 7750/7753 thing, so it's great that you'r going through it What I'd love to see here, is pics from a movement swap 7750 to 7753, if anyone have done it and documented it. Espessialy some closeups on the datechange button and pusher Thanks for the interresting work.
  3. No worrys mate, I went out and found me a 7753 DW, now I'm just waiting for the right priced 7753 movement :-) Off topic: How do you get the name in the qoute header? In other forums I use ="" but it don't seems to work here?
  4. I will get i touch blackbard, if I get my hands on a 7753 dial. I have send out the prayers to Hont and T4D, so lets see what they come up with. Thanks for the offer, I hope I get in a position to take it
  5. BTW - How do I know, if the 7750 mov. I got is a 21.6k or a 28.8k bps version? Just so I know if I'll have to got hand hunting as well.
  6. Sorry if I mixed it up, It's a 7750 DW from Taka I got. According to blackbard, it should work fine on a 7753, but Drulee say it won't??? Can anyone say it for sure? Thanks for the dial tip, I'll send Hont and Robert a mail and if I get my hands on a 7753 dial I just might me ready to take the plunge, and buy a 7753 movement But I don't like the sounds of bertieng's trouble...
  7. I have a very nice DW from Taka at RWI, and the 7753 is not that hard to find, just a matter of getting the right price ;-) But thanks for the offer. It looks like the hard part here, is to find a dial to fit the 7753. A shame that they are so rare, couse it seems like they are in high demant. How come none of the dealers have had some made, they would be gone in 60 sec? I tryed to write Francisco after reading his great tutorial A Solution to the Sunken DW of the Asian 7750, but he wasn't taking new customers for that mod :-(
  8. Will a 7750 DW fit the 7753 movement? And what kind of mods has to be made on the date pusher at 10? @ blackbard: I don't think that Francisco do the DW mod as a generel service, or has he taken it on the menu?
  9. Why is he alloved to sell again http://www.rwgforum.com/topic/111296-fs-rolex-gmt-master-ii-only-eu/page__gopid__792146&#entry792146, when these cases are not resolved???
  10. Thanks mate, I took a look inside of them last night, but couldn't decide wich screw you ment, and didn't think of taking a photo until I had them closed again :-) I did find a short term fix though. It seems that the one (IWC Spitfire) has a bend pusher arm (?), the little stick indside, that press at the movement when I push the button. When I then turn the button a quarter of a turn(it's round so it can be turned in the socket), it gets in a position where it get stuck in the "in" position! I tryed to straighten it out, but didn't make it better. Well, the short term fix is, don't turn the button But I'll try to contact the seller, and ask if he can get me a new button/pusher.I know it's a long shot, but why not. The other one (PAM 196) looks perfectly fine, but I think it was the button that was stuck here too. When I took it apart, all worked fine individualy, movement and button/pusher, and when I put it back together, it was as good as new? But I know that it'll happen again, so I'm none the wiser??? Well, they both looks perfect again, I'll just be a little conservative in my chrono use Cheers
  11. Hi Today my second A7750 got stuck! Both watches have run flawless and chrono's doing the same. But after pushing the start button, the start-stop funktion got stuck, the chrono runs happily but now there is no "click" or resistance when I push the button, and I can't stop it? Is this a common problem with the A7750? I can't find any threats about it? I don't think i've done anything I'm not surposed to, I have a couple of gen 7750 too, and they don't have the problem Can I fix it myself? and how do I prevent it from happening again? Any helt will be appreciated. Cheers
