The electric blue is lovely but perhaps a bit flashy. The black is a true classic. Can't go wrong with the classics. The blue bezel / blue dial? Meh.

I think I'm going to find a carbon strap for this with orange stitching. Should look pretty tasty.

There are some inexpensive Panny Marina Militare reps sold regularly on pmwf.com from a seller named militaritime. They are typically around $70 but he offers several upgrades. I know that they aren't great and that a DSN would run 4x the price but are they any good for the money?

Otto Frei has the dials for $222 each. They have the hands too I just didn't bother pricing them. A note to help people who have never ordered from Otto Frei or places like them. They have thousands upon thousands of watch parts. They aren't making money selling you ONE crown or ONE gasket. They are used to dealing with watchmakers who know exactly what they want and how to order it. They are very nice but they don't have time to answer a lot of questions from people who have no idea what they are doing. That's not how they make any money. You can't order from them by telling them you've got a 2006 Omega Seamaster Professional with a black bezel. You need to know the Omega case / caliber number - found inside the back of the watch. That's it. That's the only way for them to find what you need. If you don't know the number call Omega or have your local watchmaker tell you what you need. The Omega style number will help - but it is the caliber that is essential. Do your homework, get help on the forums and be courteous of their time and you will be just fine. Remember - they are not used to dealing with the general public - these guys are the real deal and they are used to dealing with old school watchmakers who can place the order in 30 seconds so they can get on to the next customer.

Thanks Rhack1. I know what you mean about the sides / clasp. I once had to hacksaw (!!!) a link out of the bracelet of my gen Sea Dweller to get the clasp to sit at the right position under my wrist. Didn't like doing it but didn't have any other options!

Hello All! Reading as much as I can on the different Panerai reps - have had a rep Panny Submersible for a couple of years now. Missed out on the first release of the RXW Marina Militare years ago when they were ~$650 then when the second batch were >$900 I couldn't afford one! Right now I'm weighing up whether I'll be satisfied with the $100 sterile homage sold by several vendors or if I need to hold out for a DSN rep or similar at over 4x the price. Looking forward to spending time here!
