Hey guys.
Just interested on your opinions of this watch:
http://forums.watchuseek.com/f29/fs-omega-aqua-terra-2504-50-36-2mm-black-dial-771916.html
It just seems a little too cheap plus he lack of box or papers is a worry.
Thanks
I thought it was about time to pay back RWG for all its help and upgrade my membership.
I recall someone saying something about additional forums for paying members but I cannot find any.
Is anyone able to shed any light on this?
Thanks
The only workout watch to consider is a Polar.
I have a Polar RS400 with which I can download and graph my entire workout on my PC.
You will not be disappointed by it.
Hi guys. My lovely 3717 recently had its 12 o'clock indicator fall off.
I was wondering if anyone knew of any modders in Australia who I could pay to reapply it for me.
Cheers.
Thanks guys for the recommendations.
I do like the strap with the red stitching.
Sigh, I know that once I put a leather strap on it I'll then have to get an ETA datewheel and some AR.
Just a question on the lume, with the Carrera Racing gen, is the lume just on the hands or do the hour markers have it as well? On my rep only the hands have a small amount.
Hi guys,
I've got a Carrera Racing of which I'm tired of the rep rubber strap and I'm wanting to go for a leather option.
I like the Di-Modell Rallye http://www.strappedfortime.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=102
Does anyone know/suggest any other good combinations?
Also, I cannot seem to find the lug width for the Carrera Racing. Am I correct in assuming it's 20mm?
G'day guys.
I am the new proud owner of a beautiful partly-modded SMP I purchased from Fireman Fred.
It already has a gen dial and hands along with an ETA movement.
I am thinking of also adding a gen crown/tube and maybe a gen bracelet.
But my most pressing upgrade would be to get a gen bezel insert. The non-OEM aftermarket one on it is nice but I would like the gen. Is it a matter of simply swapping the bezel inserts over? I was told that only the SMP Chrono was able to do that.
Secondly, can anyone recommend any watch experts in Australia who could install Omega mods such as the crown and tube?
And finally, is Ofrei the best place to buy gen parts for my watch?
Thanks,
Luke
Hi guys,
Just a quick hello from Australia. I came across this forum trying to find out why the watches I picked up in Bangkok were so rubbish; and now I know after reading the noob FAQ.
Looking forward to picking the brains of some of you guys and eventually value adding myself.
Cheers,
Luke
